Hi everyone. We leave in 9 days and we are going to MNSSHP on the 6th. My 3 DD's want to dress up as Minnie, Sleeping Beauty, and Jasmine. Someone said to me the other day that they might not be able to go on the rides if their dresses get in the way. Has anyone ever worn the princess dresses to the park, and if so has it ever prevented you from seeing a ride or attraction? Now I am rethinking the girls costumes and we leave in 9 days!!!! Help!

I was thinking the same thing. That is why we are leaving the tiara and wand at home and "Aurora" will be wearing sneakers. That is why "Woody" will not bring his hat. He will wear his shirt, vest and holster, with jean shorts. DH and I are going to be "costume free".

I will bring a change of clothes for Aurora and a t-shirt for Woody in case they are hot in the costumes.

Here's another question: Should Aurora wear a camisole under her gown to keep her from being itchy or will it make her too hot? We are going October 2nd.

Thanks!

My DD8 wore Jasmine last year with sneakers and tiara and had no problem getting in rides. I don't think the costumes you're taking will be a problem. Just make sure they wear sneakers because the costume shoes will probably be uncomfortable with all the walking you'll be doing.

Make sure that there is nothing that can get caught on the attraction vehicles. You can still wear crowns and hats without a problem.

Your costumes sound fine for MNSSHP. I don't think they'll be any problem on rides.

I'm trying to think of costumes for my DD(3) and DS(4). DD wants to be every princess and DS as of now wants to be Goofy. I figure the Goofy costume should be easy - I'll find an orange t-shirt in his drawers and have my mom make him a maroon vest. Then I'll put him in blue shorts instead of pants because of the heat, and buy a Goofy hat there for him to wear.

I was trying to talk him into being Sebastian and my daughter could be Ariel. Not sure he'll go for it. He was wearing my red oven mitts the other day and it gave me the idea that I could use them as part of his costume.

Thanks everyone! Yep, sneakers are a must, and I like the idea of bringing a change of clothes just in case. I'm sure there will be a million other little princesses running around the MK that night in sneakers! Can't wait!
