My kids love to dress up when they are in the parks, however, we usually go in January when temperatures are a lot lower than they are at the moment, soo my question is should I bother taking the princess dresses and the Buzz costumes?

I had thought about maybe taking them but also taking shorts and tee shirts to the parks so that they could change after meeting the characters. I remember last year they had trousers and a lng sleeved shirt under their outfits as it was so cold, I doubt that will be the case this time :lmao:

I would take them with you. We usually go Jan & Feb but this year the weather was fab and my DD wore the dresses all the time.

I'm realy not sure what the weather is like at the moment, I know in Sep/Oct my daughter finds it too hot for the dresses.......if it's going to be warm, they won't be very comfortable to wear

If you think they might wear them, rather take them with. Have you seen the prices of those dresses in the parks? :scared1: It is likely to be warm but if you do as you plan and put some shorts and a tee/strappy top on under the dress you can always remove it afterwards. The only things that are a pain to stash away in a backpack when removed are fairy outfits because the wings are a problem.

My DD wore dress up most days in October when it was very hot - she couldn't believe her luck being allowed out with dress up on with nothing underneath.

Take spare clothes to change into.

We don't do full park days, always have a break so she was fine.

We went at the start of feb this year and the weather was variable but i would still take the costumes. My DD wore her Rapunzel dress and got changed later in the day as the weather got warmer. As long as you take a change of clothes (warm or cool) it should be fine. :)
