Am I the only one who is not thrilled with what the Disney store has put out this year costume wise? Everything is just OK, I mean the princess costumes are cute but we've done that I was hoping for some more origional characters. Plus most of them are pretty itchy. The fairies are cute but my store only has Rosetta and Tink now and Rosetta while adorable feels pretty miserable to wear.

I thought the last two "batches" of costumes were meh. I dont know what it is about them, they just looked chintzy. I'm actually thinking of getting DD2 a Tink costume from Babies R Us! :gasp:

I really liked the ballerina costumes from the Spring though, they were super cute.

Seems like every time I have a Disney trip planned for Halloween the costumes for that year are crappy. Other years I've found stuff I really liked. The Jasmine this year is kinda cute so I'm still considering that. The rest I just wasn't too impressed with. I will most likely get my kids Disney costumes elsewhere also. I've seen some cute versions of Alice and the queen of hearts.

I hate that for the last couple of years they've had so much glitter on them. Glitter all over the house!

We just bought the Minnie dress, headband with ears and little star wand because my DD5 found the princess dresses too itchy! My favorite on her was Cinderella but I didn't want her to be uncomfortable. I got my DH to take a photo of her in each one when she tried them on. We're planning on taking it to Disney in January so she can wear it to meet Minnie, she's so excited.

I found that most of the costumes were extremely cheaply made this year with the exception of minnie and the plush costumes. We will be looking elsewhere for our princess dresses.

My DD3 loved the dresses at the Disney Store until she tried them on, they were too itchy for her she couldn't wait to get out of it! So I am also disappointed at the girls selection. (I am planning on getting the adorable Nemo costume for my DD3mon!!!)
Babies 'r' Us has princess costumes that I didn't love on the hanger but they are all really cute on. My DD3 tried on every single one of them and decided on Belle. I didn't get it because I was waiting for the Disney Store to bring out theres. So it looks like it's BRU for us this year!
