Hi all,

We have ADRs at BOG tonight! So excited, lol. Do little girls tend to dress up in costumes there, as much as they do at CRT, and other princess meals? My 7 year old is at the stage that she is very concerned about fitting in, and is so worried she will be dressed an nobody else will, or vice versa, lol. Such problems little girls in WDW have...

I have read about some girls wearing a Belle dress if they had it, but I don't know how common that is. Have fun!

When we were there I saw a few girls dressed up but I think that it may have been from the BBB. If she wants to dress up I don't think she would feel out of place because it is normal to see girls dressed up at the MK.

My DD (6) will be 7 on our December trip and she dresses up but not in princess dresses unless she went to the BBB. She like wearing FANCY tutu's and such and would rather be comfortable than in a costume. Remember its August and its Central Florida, the actual characters dont want to wear them

As the PP stated, if she wants to dress up it's fine. You'll see girls dressed up all over the parks due to BBB. However, I wouldn't consider this a "princess restaurant/meal" like CRT or Akershus. The only character is the Beast & it's at dinner only. Having said that, I imagine a picture of her as Belle with the Beast could be awfully cute! :goodvibes

When we went in December, my daughter whose 9 dressed up in her Holiday Belle dress. I don't remember how many others were cause frankly the ballroom is so large you really wouldn't be able to see every person.

I will say that like a pp said, the picture with the Beast was great! He played it up like she was Belle and tried to walk away with her and the CM was trying to tell him it wasn't Belle. Then the Beast danced and twirled with her, which of course was cool because it was similar to the movie.

Ironically, Mickey did the same when she wore her Minnie dress that trip. My daughter loves those interactions though. She's not shy at all!

Thanks everyone! My little princess has decided to wear her Belle costume, and plans to ask Beast to dance, lol. Her younger sister will wear her Rapunzel costume, she would wear it to the dentist if I'd let her!
