Costume jewelry

I need some help! We are taking a couple of winter vacations this year and although I hate wearing gloves it is going to be necessary. I don't want to take my wedding ring set because I have lost rings before taking gloves off, so I need a nice looking customer jewelry piece, that I could wear everyday for about a month a half, that won't turn my finger green and that it is budget friendly enough that I don't care if I loose it. Any ideas?

I got a very pretty band that looked like diamonds (don't have it on me or I'd take a picture) from Charming Charlie's of all places. I wore it while I was pregnant with my first because my rings no longer fit after a few months. I still have it and will wear it again soon I'm sure (pregnant again). It never turned my finger green. I've also seen pretty ones at Kohls.

Try QVC. They have a line called Diamonque (hope I spelled that correctly). Anyway, some pretty nice things.

I like swaroski for costume jewlery, costs more but tends to be set in better metals. If you have a TJmaxx/Marshalls near you they sometimes have nicer items like that in their cases or you can find items at their outlets sometimes. I don't recommend target, I found some classic looking costume jewlery there (bought for the same reason, hate to travel with real diamond stud earrings etc) and it fell apart or the metal turned very quick. I know I didn't pay a lot but one pair of earrings snapped the first time I wore them and they were actual sterling silver according to the package.

I actually bought a nice costume wedding band set from Groupon for about $20. But my favorite places to buy costume jewelry--Kohl's and Burlington Coat Factory.

I agree with Sworski, I have a number of pieces that I actually mix with diamonds in white gold and you can't tell the difference. I also have a nice crystal eternity band that I got from QVC.

Thank you I ended up going this route their pieces have a 30 year warranty and they were platinum clad.
