I have an Hp 7960 ink jet printer and have only used it a handful of times. We are planning our first trip to WDW may 24th of this year, and am excited about finding this board and having the opportunity to make some cute shirts for our girls.

With that said, I need to replace the cartridges on my printer. HP 56/59,57, and 58. I was wondering if it is worth gong and having them refilled at office Max ($50) or Walgreens ($40), or is the quality not as good as new? New ones will cost well over $100.00, and as stated beforer I hardly ever use this printer and am not wanting to invest that much in this. I've called Kinkos and The UPS Store to see if they print them for me but they all use heat based printers so that won't work. I've got my designs and my transfer paper from AMYMICKEY (Great fast service by the way! :) )

Any advice?

I have an HP printer and have not had luck refilling cartridges at Walgreens. The color is not as good quality as the original HP ink and does not come out as bright or even the same color you are used to. I have tried it three times and the final time I'm not sure what happened but I think one of the colors must not have filled at all because the colors were completely wrong and there were lines through the images. It would be nice if it was good quality to be able to save the money, but the quality is terrible from my experience.

It would be worth it for general print jobs but not for t-shirts and special print jobs.

I called Ooffice Max and they would charge $50.00 for my three cartridges. A place here in Fort Worth called "Cartridge World" which specializes in refilling toners said it would be right around $50.00 also. When i asked about the quality of the ink they said there's about a 5% difference in the quality versus new ones. Of course they are wanting my business, too  . I'm not trying to be "chinzee" but as you all know Disney is not cheap. Especially in these times. We all want the most for our kids, including making every little thing special each day. (Like with shirts I'm wanting to do) I'm wondering if this is something worth investing in or not?

Hmmmmmm.................

I wonder if I could pay a Dis boarder to print them for me? I've got the designs in word format and again bought my paper form AMYMICKEY.........Any volunteers? I would pay for shipping of course, and again for your time and ink. I need about 8-10shirts done for my two girls.:worship:

Unfortunately, because it is a disney image and they are trademark / copy writed images...no one is able to print or make items for you and get paid. That is why everyone on this site does it for free to help make another families trip special.
