Costco Shame.......

I am guilty of a gallon of relish!
Just a FYI but there is a plastic attachment available to put on those big boxes of plastic wrap. It snaps into those three cut out spots on the edge and you just push the knob across the plastic where you want it cut and it doesn't get all wrinkled together! You never have to find the end either as it sits on it waiting for your next use. A chef friend of mine got it for me from their food supplier. Not sure where to get one retail. One of those boxes last me around two years.

For me, it's Montreal Seasoning. I thought, hey - a dry rub for bar-be-queing! But DH doesn't like it!

We go to Costco weekly. Someone mentioned the cinnamon - I sprinkle some in with the coffee for brewing. But that big bottle of vanilla may take a while to get through. (It was cheaper than the small bottle at the grocery store!)

Excellent idea! I always like an excuse to go to the Container Store.

No doubt my attempt to save money on CoffeeMate will end up costing me $100.00 by the time I exit the Container Store (one of my favorite).

Or just save an old mayo jar and wash it out. Then put the creamer into it.

does anyone know if you can freeze sour cream? I bought a TUB and I know we won't finish it before it expires. :headache:

I bought a box of coffee filters I just can't finish no matter how much coffee I drink. It was bought 2 years ago.

An item I thought I would never finish, but finally did was a box of plastic spoons. I hate to waste, but my kids never bring untensils home from school lunches, so I bought a huge box of plastic ones. We are finally down to the last 50 of them and I think I'll have to go buy more...

Huge roll of aluminum foil. I'm not sure when we bought it exactly but I know I moved it with us when we moved into our house over 3.5 years ago!

One of you guys should arrange a Costco trade. Someone who doesn't like Montreal seasoning but needing a 1/2 gallon of pickle relish could trade up with the opposite.

Taco Seasoning.. I thought, HEY! I make tacos a lot. Not as much as I though, I guess. :lmao:

OMG, I have that too!! I think I bought it at BJ's which we moved away from 3 years ago..I know I brought it with me! It's still good, my God, what kind of preservatives do they put in that stuff?

I also have a big box (maybe 200) of kitchen size white garbage bags that I bought at BJ's, too. I use one for recycling pop cans, and another for the garbage can. The box STILL looks full!!

I did (or actually my DS8) finally use up the mega box of Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal..He goes through that stuff like crazy..time to buy another one.:rotfl:

I am picturing Kramer and Newman carrying in their finds from the Warehouse ..was it a gigantic can of tuna?:rotfl:

I sent Dh to the store for coffee filters and he picked up the monster box:rotfl2: I drink a lot of coffee and I do not think I am up to the challenge of drinking that much coffee.:rotfl2:

We also have that roll. I told Dh that we would never use it all. He said sure we will in 6 months. So I wrote the date on the side of the box and 5 years later I still i have it.:rotfl2:

 I am considering of buying a Costco membership, but my pantry isn't that big. Maybe I need to re-think my plan?

Hanging my head in shame....I have several of the items already mentioned...

Montreal Seasoning
Ziploc baggies
Box of plastic bags like a grocery store would have
Sharpies

I actually just got back from Costco. Something I know I'll never get through - Chocolate Cream Pie - it was new, I was curious, it's too chocolatey. I bought the 11 toothbrush pack and I'm single. That'll take a while to get through, hate not having a new one when you want one though.

Oh, thought of another one - gluesticks!

An industrial-sized vat of parmesean cheese.

Same here with the grated parmesan cheese. By the expiration date, we chucked more than two-thirds of it. Now we are back to buying a small container at the local supermarket.

We are guilty of the plastic wrap as well

but the death of me has been the hundred thousand paper plates
they take up the entire top of my pantry....what was i thinking:confused3

Another idea is to make jars of mocha for your employees. I went through a bunch of that powdered creamer ( that I never use otherwise) i have the recipe around if you or your wife wants it.
