Costco package delivery

In case anyone was wondering when packages were delivered, I called yesterday and they told me packages are sent out 24 days from arrival for first delivery attempt 21 days before delivery. If you don't think you'll be around for the delivery, they will hold it for you at the DLH hotel at least (that's what they did last year)

Wait Wait wait!!!! You can order from Costco and they will deliver it to DLH?? I never heard of this! That would be awesome! Could you tell me more about how this works?? How do you order? How do you pay?? What is the delivery charge?? Thanks so much I really appreciate the info.

Not sure on the specifics, but I think if you order a package (tickets and hotel) from Walt Disney Travel less then 21 days from your arrival the package gets sent to your hotel. Don't know if Good Neighbor hotels do this or just the Disney hotels.

The OP means a ticket package, not items purchased from Costco.

Yes, room/ticket packages. You probably could get other items delivered to DLH. I normally order stuff online and send it ahead when we travel. (ie. diapers, pouches, snacks). I don't know what food Costco has online.

I would definitely look into it if that's what you are interested in. (we order from amazon and diapers.com)

On the Costco packages. We were looking at getting a package for our upcoming trip in mid-August, and when comparing the package price vs just purchasing the hotel (good neighbor) and tickets separately, it was $130 less to purchase everything separately.

Yeah with the package we would get free character dining and a $20 gift card which puts the package at a small advantage. But with the package you have to pay it all upfront and risk losing it if god forbid something happened if we had to cancel the trip.
