Wow, I would sign up but anyone know the price or what auto renew is?

I've used this offer for gifts in the past. I can't take advantage myself (long time Costco member) but it's a great deal and makes a nice gift for someone else.

You spent $30,000 at Costco in one year?

The answer could very well be yes!
Example: my coworker uses her Costco credit card for everything. She also shops as much at Costco as she possibly can (instead of other stores) using her Executive Membership. Plus books personal travel through Costco (and travels alot). Plus uses her Costco credit card for business travel (and then is reimbursed via hard check by my company!). She received a very large check back (I think $600!) from Costco a year ago. I was ah-mazed.

I've been averaging about $75 pack each year on odds & ends and once in a while trips. I've got a "big for me" purchase coming up later this year, and Costco has the best price, so this 2% back just adds to the savings.

But that is the credit card not the membership. Two related but separate things. I could see spending 30K on a credit card in a year but not specifically at Costco.

How do I get the offer? I googled it and the regular membership comes up for $60/year. No mention of coupons.

as an existing member we've learned that while we don't qualify for these offers we can still get the freebies they offer at costco and other sites that have 'sign up for costco membership' booths by doing our yearly renewal there vs. at the checkout counter.

on gifting a membership-i was going to do this for dd but i found out i could just get her costco giftcards and save the membership fee. she tells me when she needs a new one and for what amount and i pick it up on my next visit (or order it on-line for her).

Wow, great deal. Can’t use since we’ve been executive members for years but like the idea as gift. We get huge check back each year. Credit card gets you 4% back in gas, 3% on dining & eligible for travel, 2 in Costco & 1 elsewhere ( don’t bother with the 1% since my others cards are better). You get two check, one from Costco & one from credit card co. We get well over $600 a year, it’s well worth it!!

I use our Costco charge card for gas there every week. Gas prices are cheaper at Costco and we get 4% back in a Costco certificate when using their charge

Can someone explain to me the executive membership, the 2% and the 2 separate checks? We currently have the Costco credit card and usually get between $300-$400 back per year in a Costco gift card. We've used the card for travel, dining, gas, etc.

We've often been approached about upgrading to the Executive membership; I guess I'm confused about the difference.
