Costco Heys 20" Xcase Carry on $36

Just got back from Costco and they've got the Heys lightweight carryon (Xcase) with the dimpled outside (not the shiny ones) for $35.99. The Costco I was at (Markham) had silver, red and black.

This is a pretty good price for these Heys cases.

And even though I need another suitcase like another hole in the head, I bought one. Luggage, for some reason, is my kryptonite.

I'm with ya on that.....I've got more luggage than I need and yesterday I was looking at more.

I would love to get the Xcase. Does it fit easily in the overhead bin on a plane?

Looks like it would. The one thing it doesn't have is a way for it to hang onto another bag. On the other hand, it's really light. I picked up my regular carry on for comparison...and it was definitely lighter before packing.

We bought 5 of those Heys XCases 20" suitcases last week from Costco too. 4 for our family, and 1 for my step-niece. They are amazingly lightweight.

We actually only have Heys hard case luggage -- 30" and 26" -- that are all wheel drive. Really easy to push and navigate thru busy airports. We bought them from Costco in Seattle, a set of 2 (30" and 26") for $118 USD. We bought 2 sets!

The Bay sells the 30" for ~$200 and the 26" for ~$180 (when I last checked) -- what a mark up!

It's usually the larger bags that have the piggyback strap. You have to attach the smaller bag to the larger one.

I started with the Heys packing cubes, got the packmates, toiletries bag, and for my Birthday my MOM got me a 3 piece set with 4 wheels and it is the most awesome set ever. I bought a set for DH and I have the hanging jewelery bag as well. DH also got me the Heys luggage scale.


I saw the ones at Costco....I was even tempted to buy some as X-Mas gifts. It's a sickness. I am addicted to Heys luggage.


My 20 in was so easy to travel with, fit really easily in the bins above the seats. Even the security people were impressed with it.

My carry on, before I bought this Heys, had a strap. I usually just attached little things like a shopping bags to it. My other carry on also had a pull handle that I could slip my laptop bag over. I'll have to see what can be done with this Heys.

Heys should do laptop bags...

There are only two of us and we have 5 sets of luggage and I just
used my airmiles to buy the Heys Spinair hybrid 3 pc set!

When they have a set on as a showstopper on the shopping channel, it usually beats the best price anywhere.

My DH's set was $199 for a 3 piece, hard-sided, 4wheel set. Awesome deal.

So glad I saw this thread! I was at Costco tonight and got a red one. I have to take a trip for a family wedding by myself and reading the thread I realized it would be nice to have a lighter carry on since DH won't be with me to heave it into the overhead. (I have had 2 shoulder injuries and don't want to tempt fate!) I didn't even know I needed a new suitcase, but apparently I did This case is so light! I love it. Thanks again

As the owner of WAY too much Heys luggage and accessories (it's a sickness, or so I'm told)... I strongly suggest you keep your receipts!!

While Heys makes some nice, lightweight luggage - they are not without their share of problems. Yes, Costco has a good return policy and tracks each item purchased to your account; but in case you need to mail or drop off the suitcases at Heys in Mississauga, it's VERY handy to have your proof of purchase.

Now back to the schedule Heys love fest
