Cost of upgrading from DP to DDP? Do you get an Appetizer?

Just wondering if you get the free dining offer if you can upgrade to the Deluxe, and what the cost is to do so?

Also, is getting a free apetizer the only extra you get for this plan?

Is the Deluxe worth it?

Deluxe dining includes appetizers for adults at table service (except breakfast). And it's not free - you are paying extra for the ability to have an appetizer included.

Deluxe also differs from basic in this manner:

Basic dining: 1 TS, 1 CS, 1 snack per night

Deluxe dining: 3 meal credits (can be used for either TS or CS) per night, 2 snacks per night, 1 resort refillable mug per person.

If you enjoy dining at nicer restaurants and don't enjoy counter service it is absolutely worth it. We saved about $1000 last year, but it is only worth it if you think you will want all the food.

We like the Signature restaurants, appetizers and 2 snacks/day, so for us it is perfect. Also if you are staying a a deluxe resort you can use DxDp for in room dining.
