Cost of taxi from MCO to ASM

Hi there!

My brother will be joining us for the end of our trip in October. I'm guessing the best way for him to get from MCO to All-Star Movies will be to take a taxi? I don't want him to have to mess with Mears and all of the stopping, etc. Does anyone know about how much this will cost? Thanks!!

Unless you negotiate a flat fare a cab ride will be metered, about $50 plus tip. A towncar shouldn't cost any more.

Many people use Mears without problems. It's possible he'll have to wait and make multiple stops BUT the bad experiences are what people post. Chances are the stops will be reasonable. I took Mears to the airport, the stopped at the EPCOT resorts and then went directly to the airport.
