Cost of Cruise Line T-Shirts

I've been on ebay, and can buy DCL shirts and Castaway Cay shirts for $15.00. Is this a good buy, or should I wait and get them on the ship?

They are about $20 on the ship and at CC. Once you pay for shipping through EBAY, it might be well worth it to just wait for the cruise.

Before we cruised in Dec. we found some shirts adults and childrens at the outlet stores in Orlando, and were surprised to see the same shirts on sale on the boat. I think we paid 4.99 and 6.99 a piece.

I bought my DW a really nice T-shirt on Castaway Cay for $15.00. She loves it. However, we did 4 days at WDW before our 3 day cruise and found a good deal on DCL shirts at the Character Premiere Store at the Orlando Premium Outlet Mall. They were about $ 8-12 .

I think the t-shirts i bought at CC ran 18 bucks, and that was for adult 2x sizes...

Where was the outlet store where you found the shirts?

When we were at WDW in 2000 we found an outlet store that sold WDW merchadise (not Disney Store merchandise), the same clothing and souvenirs that you'd find in the parks for a very good price. I'm pretty sure it was just east of Orlando, but I can't remember for sure. It sounds like you two were at THAT store! Any chance you can provide directions? Even if they're vague, it would be appreciated. I'd like to get back there this fall!

Manchurianbrownbear, No problem... we go every trip. It is the Orlando Premium Outlets- 8200 Vineland Avenue, Orlando- phone # 407-238-7787, Its on the south side of I-4, at exit 27 (535), Heading south on 535 go under the I-4 , should be the 2nd light turn left on Vineland Ave. Its the road that runs along I-4 on the south side and goes to International Dr. You can see the Outlet Mall from the I-4. Its about a 1/4 mi on the right once you get on Vineland Ave. The store is called The Character Premiere Store and is located just West of the Food Court, quite easy to find if you go in the food court entrance and proceed through the food court exiting out the courtyard doors to the stores, turn right its right there on the corner. They have a lot of Disney things at good savings. Not left over junk. My wife loves that place. Any other questions let me know!

On the Magic last week, I bought in the shops a Disney Cruise Line tee shirt (white, reading Disney Cruise Line 98; the identical blue ones were NOT on sale) and a Castaway Cay shirt (ironic, since I never actually got to see Castaway Cay) for $8.99 each, marked down. I think I bought one in each shop.
