Hi, I am trying to estimate the "special" dining costs for our upcoming trip and I noted that in the Celebration BBQ thread the price was 28.99 plus 15% gratuity for each person - is there a lower price for children? (age 4)?

Also, on Goofy's Kitchen, the Disneyland website and other sites all say "30 for adults, 20 for children" but I would like to know the exact amount, if possible, for a child or adult - has that amount gone up?

Thanks for any help!

I am not sure about Celebration BBQ, but Goofy's prices fluctuate with the seasons, and also breakfast is always cheaper than dinner. So, for example, your peak season Goofy's Kitchen dinner would be the most expensive Goofy's meal you could have, while the off-peak GK breakfast would be the least expensive. July is definitely peak season, so if you are eating breakfast/brunch, you are probably looking at close to $37 per adult, with tax and tip (but if you have an AP or AAA, you can get a discount on that amount). I know that the off-peak season GK breakfast (like in late September and October) was $32 and some change (and that price includes the gratuity and tax). Dinner prices for peak season are probably somewhere in the $45 range. All of these totals include tax and tip, though. I know these are not exact figures, but they give you a better idea of what the costs are. I am not sure about kids' prices.

Thanks guys! We will be there November 3 to 10 and it will be breakfast at Goofy's - your responses have given me a better "ball park" to estimate from. Thank Heaven we do have AAA so can usually get some nice discounts!

Yep, AAA will get you a bit of a discount on the meal, and, in fact, you MAY get lucky and get the off-peak rates for the breakfast in early November. I know the prices drop in late September and then go up again for the holiday season, but your trip may be early enough in November where you get an off-peak rate. Oh well, in any case, breakfast is always cheaper than dinner so that much is guaranteed! I love the GK breakfast buffet - I hope you have a great time!:thumbsup2
