cosplay and Disney inspired outfits for adults

Thanks that makes me feel better. I just got my top skirt and socks in the mail today. I love the top and socks but found the top looked much better with a pair of white shorts I have so I am going with that. Over all I am very pleased with how it looks. Oh and by the way no need to duck. I understand. I on the other hand I enjoyed the movies but once was enough for me. The whole Starwars thing is for the boys. I just like to fit in with them.

OK...where did you find that outfit???? That is awesome!

Any one know where I can get a small bunch of blue hair extentions in Disney? I would like to add it to my black hair for my Silver Mist outfit. We leave Tuesday at 3:30am so I will not have time to get something here since I work 3rd shift tonightand Sunday night.

Don't know about hair extensions, but you could get your hair wrapped with blue to create faux extensions!

This whole concept has me so intrigued! How creative! Now I have something new to look for while at WDW! I checked out a couple of the links and ended up finding an adorable snow white themed shirt at mod cloth. A bit pricey for a tee, but tempting!

Here's the link, sorry I haven't ever posted photos before and am clueless.

Thanks for sharring. Just be careful Disney bounding becomes addicting LOL!!!

I would love to share. First the top is from Athleta. I am not sure if they still sell that model but I found it on eBay. They had a few for sale from different sellers. look up Athleta turbo charge tank. The White and black skort is IZOD golf skort. I also found it on ebay. the white skort is from Venus. But personally I like how the top goes with plain straight white shorts better. The socks which is my favorite is from Jinx.com. They are called Portal 2 long fall socks. Look under accessories then socks when you get into Jinx.com. Have fun!

I have been looking for a blue hair extention for my Silvermist outfit and came accross something very intresting that I want to share with all my new Disney bound friends. Walmart and I am sure other stores that are simular sell a hair product called Splat washable hair color. It comes in electric blue which is just perfect for silver mist. It also come in a fire red color that would be just perfect for any one wanting be Ariel. The stuff washes out so it would be great for the day. They also make a semi permanent if you are wanting the effect to last longer.

Oh my goodness, YES it does! It was an amazing quick 2 hours of surfing just based on what I saw on this thread!! I think it could get really expensive too. The thrift shop purchases are awesome, an even bigger challenge!

Just got back from our trip and I have to say I had a blast Disney bounding!!! I even got some complements. When I have some time and can get my pictures uploaded I will share them with you. I saw a lot of others Disney bounding as well. I many not have even picked up on it if I was not looking for it. It sure made it fun walking around the parks.

I followed with interest. Glad you had a wonderful time.:)

Here's some pictures from my last trip!
I did my two favorite characters Snow White and Mary Poppins!
When I was going through my pictures I noticed an "accidental" disneybound in a picture with Belle. Totally didn't plan it, my jacket just so happened to look like Belle's blue dress! :rotfl:

I felt compelled to share some of mine too! I love DisneyBounding! I do it even when I'm NOT at the parks!

WOW!!! I am impressed!!! Great job!!! When is your trip? Just a FYI Elsa and Anna are now at MK. You may want to try and snag a FP+ for them and then wear your top. Share pics when you get back. I am waiting for my CD from Disney. It has pictures of my Disney bounding outfits. Once it comes in I will post them. Don't have any on my camera since I was the one taking all the pictures.

WOW!!! That is way cool!!! I have been having Disney withdrawal since I have come back. I think I may have found a way to help with that. Disney bounding at home. Sure am going to give it a try. Hopefully it will satisfy me until I can get to Disney World again.

For some reason I can not see your pics. Just wondering if it is my computer and if every one else can see them.

Have you considered chalk? It seems to be a huge temporary color thing right now - you can get Hot Huez at Walmart that includes multiple hair chalk color.

You could also kool-aid for a temp hair dye, but I think that works better on lighter-coloured hair (blonde, light brown).

I know I've also seen temp hair color in a mascara-style applicator for streaks - you could look for that, or just check Walmart for blue mascara!

I've been busy planning my outfits for my upcoming trip. We're going for 11 days, and I'm trying to coordinate as much as possible so that I can reuse pieces and don't have to bring 11 different outfits!

At the moment I have a brown maxi skirt that I love, that I'm planning to use for Cinderella's "servant" outfit (planning to add the top and a white headband or bandana, with black flats and the blue "pearl" necklace that the evil sisters ripped off), going to add a brown fringed one shoulder top and a teal necklace to do Pocahontas one day and a yellow tank and tealish/green headband or bandana for Gus Gus another day (haven't figured out jewelry ideas for him yet!)

I have a pongo outfit planned: black capris, white top with black polka dots and a red necklace. Might even recycle this one with a blue necklace for perdita another day.

Thinking of doing peasant Aurora too if I can find the right colour skirt. I have a black tube top and headband already that I can use and I'm hoping to find a spinning wheel or dragon pendant to put on a necklace too.

Still working out what to do for other days. I might wear a couple of my favourites more than once :)

I love shopping and I make my own jewelry, so this will give me lots to do in the weeks leading up our trip!!

LOVE seeing all these pictures! :) I know Elsa is at MK now and I also know I won't get a picture with her b/c that's not high on my FP list at MK. ;) But I figure getting a pic in front of Norway will still be pretty fun!

Hi,

Love seeing all your ideas! I had never heard of Disney Bounding before, but I have already been thinking about planning my outfits around characters/parks!! Mostly Minnie as I love polka dots and bows!

This is me at WDW last year. It was our last day and I had picked the dress up a few days before at DTD. I love this dress and even wear it to work with leggings and red pointy flats.
