cosplay and Disney inspired outfits for adults

I've Disneybounded as both Alice and Mickey Mouse in the past. I wish I had pictures to show you all!

For Alice, I wore a pair of blue skinny jeans, a blue t-shirt with a white sweater, black boots, a black headband with a bow and I bought a necklace with a little teapot charm.

For Mickey, I went with red skinny jeans, white t-shirt, black sweater, black boots and a yellow scarf.

Love this! Don't think I can swing jeans in the park if I do Alice one park day, but maybe capris. :) I'm going to steal your ideas!

Oh I didn't wear it in the park, I wore it just because! LOL I was actually visiting NYC with some friends. They didn't know, but I did. :smokin:

I COMPLETELY agree - hair color doesn't matter. I plan to do Alice also and my hair is the opposite of hers! My daughter just pointed out that I have the mean mom's hair. Hopefully that's the ONLY way I'm like Rapunzel's pretend mom. ;) but since DD seems to enjoy hanging with me and even doing disney bounding with me, that's hopefully a pretty good sign! :rotfl:

I am learning that hair color does not matter and even decided to go as Ariel. I LOVE what I have for that outfit and won't even care that my hair is not red. I would like to also do Merida some time.
I got my son as excited about Disney bounding as I am! He decided just tonight that he wants to go as The reindeer in Frozen when we do our meet and greet. What a great idea! he wants to wear a brown shirt and brown shorts with reindeer ears. I am going with the Elsa but decided to go casual. I have a pair of ice blue shorts with silver metalic stiching and a bit of bling on the pockets (crystals). I also have a deep turquoise tank top that has silverish glitter that sparkles like snow. toped off with a ice blue snowflake necklass. I am thinking of doing the single braid and adding snowflake hair pins. The only thing is I can't braid like that. I would have to have my hair done the night we leave and we would not be at MK until our second day at WDW so I really have to think about whether my hair will hold up for two and a half days. What do you guys think?

It might be tough for a braid to last that long - but then again my hair is obnoxious...maybe your hair behaves better! So...yesterday I bounded as Robin Hood when I went to work. I used the new feather necklace and added a red purse for that splash of red since the feather was silverish. So much fun to do under the radar bounding!

Now...no matter what I wear, I'm trying to figure out if I can be "bounding" in some way. :)

Yeah that is the best part about Disney bounding, you can do it any time! Really like the feather idea! I am glad to share things here on these boards since my husband just does not get it. I brought out my outfits especially Ariel since that is the one I am proud of the most and showed him. He just looked at me and shook his head. He says I just don't see it. I truely think he thinks I am crazy!!!

Anyone know where I can found a Flounder Back Pack? I would love to find a stuff one that has a zipper to put things in. Wouldn't that be perfect! keep your eyes open please.

You know what you could do for a flounder backpack? Bright orange with just a few black and white splashes - even black and white ribbons tied on would work. :)

I think you described Nemo - Flounder is yellow & blue. The same principles would apply, though!

believe it or not I actually found a stuffed flounder back pack for my Ariel inspired outfit. I am narrowing down my Elsa outfit and even found a snowflake neckless. I decided to go with my ice blue shorts with silver metalic thread and crystal emblishments. I have a ice blue strapless top with a mesh log sleve top to go underneath. I am debating on leaving the mesh shirt white or dyeing it pale blue. Any ideas? My last project is a Star Wars inspired out fit for DHS. We will be there the first day of SWW. Any one have any ideas?

These are the things I found for my casual Elsa inspired out fit. I plan on wearing the strapless top over the mesh long sleve top. The picture shows a black top but I have it in white. I am going to attempt to braid my hair and have snowflake hair pins to put in. So what do you guys think? Will it pass for Elsa?

It's not exactly Disneybounding, but have you checked out Her Universe for Star Wars items? She has a lot of 'everyday cosplay' stuff that's super cute. You could even just look at the pics and use them as inspiration for a more bounding-like outfit.
