Are the buns on all WDW burgers really whole wheat now?

It's fast food, typical burger/chicken fare but a little higher quality than you'd get at a national chain. The main draw is the "entertainment." It's nice and air conditioned inside, and you can watch a space dinosaur sing lounge songs. I always have a good time there.

Definitely agree with Pecos Bill's being superior. There are a few healthier choices, and the fixins bar is definitely above Cosmic Ray's. If you sit outside you get a nice view of Splash Mountain.

Thanks all! It is good to see that some of the other offerings than the rib/chicken platter and burgers are draws and favorites to you all that shared. My concern was that the other options suffered at their expense. My DS will be excited that the chicken fingers are a winner. I, personally am looking forward to dipping those fries in that cheese sauce. (Hey, it's vacation!)

My kids like the corn dog nuggets. I am not sure if they still offer those, though. We haven't been back in a few years because the last time we were there my kids thought it "smelled". On our past couple trips, when we were in MK, I would ask where they wanted to eat for lunch and they would both respond, "Any place except that place that smells." I didn't think it smelled bad?? Also, Sonny Eclipse wasn't working the last 2 times we were there???

Personally, I would go just for the cheese sauce for my fries!!

We love Cosmic Rays. My hubby always gets the bacon cheeseburger (no more doubles) and my daughter gets chicken. My DD is occupied by Sony Eclispe too.

We also like Pecos Bills. The Pork BBQ is great, they have burgers, taco salads and a huge toppings bar.

We love Pecos Bills. I actually really like the kids turkey sandwich and the angus burger. They also have a great fixins bar and the cheese sauce. I also love the self-serve kiosks.

That's only at the counter service locations. This past December I ordered Cheeseburgers at the ESPN Club and Beaches & Cream which still use the regular white bread buns.

Actually, CS is my family's favorite QS in the MK because they have such a huge menu AND we LOVE Sonny Eclipse...They also have an AWESOME condiments bar. ENJOY

Plus the air conditioning For a few years, we kept trying other QS places during our stays, but we never liked it as much as CR's. There's a great variety. We do like the chicken/ribs combo. with mashed potatoes and green beans, but they also have salads, chicken sandwiches, wraps, chicken tenders ect. There really is a good variety. The only thing that can be a pain, is that it's kinda like 3 diff. little places in one, so they have 3 diff. places to order, and you can only order what that particular place has to offer, so depending on what your group wants, you may have to order at more than 1 "bay."

Wow! Now I'm confused again! We have eaten at Peco Bill's. Thought it was ok but the reviews from Cosmic Ray's made me want to try it. Now I don't know which one is better!?!? Peco Bill's was always packed and hard to find a place to sit when we went- is Cosmic Ray's worse? CR pics look good.

NOTE: Cosmic Ray's is the second larger fast food eatery
in the world - the real world. It seats over 1,100 people. It has
three separate ordering/serving stations for different foods. It
used to be the best fast food in WDW, but has slipped quite a bit
in quality and speed, and the "fixin's bar" for sandwich condiments
has been greatly simplified as a cost reduction. The new multi
grain buns fall apart in your hands, and the burger formula has
been changed. Still a good eatery, but for Magic Kingdom, Pecos
Bill's and Harbor House greatly surpass Cosmic Ray's for quality,
tastiness and price value. One favored aspect for kids and adults is
the performance by the audio animatronic "Sonny Eclipse" and his
invisible backup singers - a nice touch during meals.

My wife loves Cosmic Rays we have to eat there at least once every trip.
