Cosmic Ray's vs Pecos Bill. Which do you prefer...

On the taco trio, you can mix & match, correct? Say I wanted all three tacos to be the same, I could do that? We were planning to skip Pecos Bills this time because of the menu changes, but this looks good & would be something besides chicken nuggets & burgers.

OP, we enjoyed Cosmic Rays on our trip in 2015. That was before all the bays served the same meals. We had the bbq sandwich & the toppings bar helped a lot. I saw the other day that there is no bbq sandwich offered now, but there is a bbq plate. We also went to Pecos Bills before the menu changed to "Mexican". We enjoyed our meals there as well.

Yes you can mix and match, my favorite taco was the chicken taco and I passed on the $2 guac which used to be free and I kicked myself for that. My husband's burger came with tortilla chips and as much as I love salsa, I love guac more and I heard it was pretty good.

I prefer Cosmic Ray's, but we like Pecos Bill also. We tend to eat wherever we are, so if we are in Tomorrowland, we eat at Cosmic Ray's. I do like their half chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. We don't eat burgers or chicken nuggets, so I can't comment on those. DH and I split the fajita platter at Pecos Bills.

Get a coke at Cosmic Rays if you want to watch Sonny Eclipse, but eat somewhere else.

Honestly, neither. The menu at Peco's Bills makes me gag ...and I love mexican food! I dont mind Cosmic Rays at all. I love that they have roast chicken...but i havent eaten there in a couple of years. My go to QS in MK is CHH....I love the tuna sandwiches. I also like the flatbread at Pinocchio Village Haus.

They sure do! SEE HERE. I love roast chicken and mashed potatoes! So sick of the typical fast food....so the roast chicken is definitely refreshing.

If I had to choose it would be Pecos Bills but we rarely eat at MK and if we do it's Skipper's Canteen. We normally leave and either go to another park or take the boat over to one of the monorail resorts or WL and eat there. We aren't big fans of QS in any of the parks except WS in Epcot.

I believe the 1/2 chicken is only available at dinner at Cosmic Ray's.

No contest. Pecos Bill's. Its our favorite QS in MK. Weve actually walked in Cosmic Rays looked at each other and then shlepped across the park to eat at Pecos instead. Better food by far.

Like Peter Griffin, I think guac is the devil's vomit so I am not upset they removed it from the free toppings bar.

I don’t love the current menu at Cosmic Ray’s. They got rid of the chicken and rib combo platter that was our go-to. They used to serve a cheesesteak and an iced coffee that I liked and are no longer on the menu. For atmosphere, though, Cosmic Ray’s is much nicer. I adore Sunny Eclipse. LOL!

Food wise, the fajita platter at Pecos is very good. I’d take that over anything that Cosmic Ray’s is currently serving. It’s plenty of food for two people especially if you want to save some room for one of the great snacks you can get in the MK.

Pecos Bill's because we love the Tex-Mex menu better. We are honestly not picky about qs though. Come on people- it's fast food! After going to Universal with DS's band group last year I am SO much more impressed with WDW qs anyway. I found Universal to have less variety, less for your money, and frankly bland. I am bitter about the removal of the guacamole on the topping bar. Although I may have been the cause of that due to how much guacamole I consumed on my last trip...

Food is great (quantity and quality) and many options to choose from.
