I Read that you have to stand in up to possibly (3) different lines to get food here if everyone does not want the same thing??? Any info would be appreciated.

I think that is true. Although we only had to stand in one line for what we wanted. The one line is the grill items. This is the line we stood in. We got burgers and the kids got the corn dog nuggets.

The other line I think is for the roasted chicken and ribs meal. I can not think what the 3rd line is for? I'm sure someone will come along and tell us.

Maggie

The third line is soups/salads and was Kosher meals, but they may have switched Kosher to the Burger line.

If you aren't into waiting in separate lines, I believe that someone one this board said that you can get the same basic foods at Pecos Bill.

I had a terrible time here in December. It's OK if you have 2 adults that can stand in different lines, but with just me and a 4 year old, it was a nightmare. By the time I got my hotdog, her nuggets were cold. Not worth it in my opinion. I love Pinocchio Village Haus for CS though!

I too would recommend Pinnochio's Village Haus for CS...while we enjoy Cosmic Ray's as well the seperate line thing is a pain and we love the theming at Village Haus...especially if you can get a table at the windows looking over the entrance of IASW. :wave2:

Another Cosmic Ray fan family here! Yes, we do end up in two different lines (3 meals one line and 1 meal in the other!), but the cheese sauce on the salad fixins bar is not to be missed! We just love makin' those cheese fries! It used to be a toss up between Cosmic Ray & Pecos Bill but since Pecos Bill changed their children's menu, that CS is no longer an option for us. And we haven't tried the new menu at Pinocchio's yet either. So for now ... it's Cosmic Ray's all the way!!!

I totally agree with you, PattnFamily! The best part about Cosmic Ray's is the fixin's bar - nothing is better than a sloppy mess of cheesy saucy salad fries (fries with cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions and a splash of barbeque sauce). Sometimes, when I'm not as hungry, my husband will get his meal from CR and I'll grab a big pretzel from a cart. That way, I can snag some of his leftover cheese sauce for the pretzel. YUM!! :goodvibes

That's a great idea! DH could eat there twice a day every MK day! We tried to make the cheese fries at home, but although I can get good cheese sauce, my oven fries just don't cut it! Oh, I can't wait until October to go to Cosmic Rays! :cloud9:

There are 3 different lines, But each one has about what you'd find at one other counter service. It can be a pain to wait in 3 different lines but it's better than trooping to 3 different places.

you guys are right...you can't pass up Cosmic Ray's fixins bar. The hamburgers are truely out of this world good. We've never had problems with the (three) sets of lines, even when it's been crowded.

If the Burgers and Hot dogs are in the same line..I won't be an issue for me..I have 3 kids..Are the burgers and hotdogs same line?

They were in December.

Did they get rid of the animatronic Alien Band?

When we were there in September, they brought up a Live Brass Band (which was WAY too loud for lunch...we couldn't even talk!)

We won't go to Pecos Bills anymore...at least while on the meal plan. The ONLY dessert they carry (at least in September) was a Peanut Dessert of some kind, and my youngest son is allergic to peanuts. They had no substitute dessert for someone with peanut allergies, so we got gyped out of
dessert for that lunch.

Cosmic Rays has MUCH more selection as well....BBQ sandwiches, 1/2 Roasted Chicken, Hamburgers, Chicken, Hot Dogs, Salads, Turkey Wrap and more....yes, you might have to wait in a couple of lines, but it's worth it.

Here is the menu: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/men_cr.htm

Now, they use alien robot instead. I've been working for 10 weeks now. I have never heard of Live Brass Band. Occasionally, there are some live school band coming to perform. Of course, the audience would be the parents who look extremely interested on their kids.

I was there in Nov 2005 and they had the 'robot band' playing - not really a band, just an animatronic alien lounge singer with a keyboard telling bad jokes - very annoying entertainment, Pecos Bills is a better restaurant, except if you sit outside (all the birds)
