I have horribly oily skin and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good foundation primer. I generally wear either Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation or Benefit's Hello Flawless Powder Foundation.

Thanks :cutie:

I'm a Bare Minerals user and I also have oily skin. I recently picked up this (it's new):

I don't like it as well as their traditional primer, but it does help control the shine!

:thumbsup2

And the only reason I haven't tried the Monistat is that, try as I might, I can't find it around here. :headache: One of these days I will finallly decide to give up and order it online. I hear such good things about it! :thumbsup2

I use Monistat Anti-Chafing Gel as my primer - don't gross out. It's not THAT kind of Monistat =) Just by the makers of. It has the same ingredients as Smashbox Photofinish Primer.

I use this as well. It's much less expensive than traditional primer and actually works better at controlling shine, IMO. Although that may be just because I tend to apply it more liberally because it's cheaper.

I've used it for almost 2 years now and it works great! It's about $5 for a tube and lasts forever so it's worth giving a shot.

Second for Monostat, this week I am in Orlando and it is hot but my make up is in place no problem...it is a powder gel so it should keep down the oil. I suggest you try it because the other primers are 35 a tube and this is 5.95 not all that much to lose if you don't like it while 35 is a good amount to lose if you don't like the others.

Another Monistat Chafing Gel user here:thumbsup2!!!!!

For those of you using Monistat Chafing Gel - where are you finding it? I'd like the know the store and where IN the store you can find this stuff? :confused3

I've searched high and low with no luck!

I have had the best luck with Never Let Them See You Shine & On a Clear Day, both from Philosophy.

The Monistat with t-zone problems just didn't work well.

I've tried all the primers mentioned (and more) except Philosophy's. Every one of them break me out. So sorry, I'm not help.

I have looked for it too. Where in WalMart/CVS/ etc in this located? I have looked in the section where Monistat is usually sold and haven't seen the Chafing Gel.
