With the quest for perfection so rampant these days - if money wasnt an object, would you get something done? Have you had something done? Would you admit it, if you had/did?

I would - not anything crazy and extreme (well, I dunno.... ;) )

There was a girl on DR 90210 whom had her butt - hole bleached. Oh yes - apparently they have special bleaching cream for this spot.... :scared:

Nope.....unless it was some sort of reconstructive type of surgery after an illness or accident.

Eewww, that's gotta hurt :guilty: Naw, I'd never get anything done. I've lived hard for these wrinkles.

Ok...I'll bite...why on earth would that be necessary?

Nope... nothing. You won't get me under the knife for anything unless it is absolutely medically necessary.

Oh, and as to the question, not unless I was in an accident or something. There will enough medically necessary surgeries in my life, I really don't feelt he need to ask for more.

Why??? (What am I missing??)

SHe was a porn-star and she wanted all the skin to *match* :confused3

You know how embarrassing it can be to have skin that doesnt match, down there??? :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :cool1:

Oh./.... I can totally see how that would have the potential to stall your career...(gag, retch, rolleyes)

I might.

I've gained a lot of weight since I had the kids, plus I have a really bad scar from the c-sections. The first c-section scar was crooked and a big mess, so the second doctor tried to fix it up a little and even it didn't heal right. It's also not the bikini line scar -- it's a vertical scar. My tummy looks like a BUTT. So, if I lose weight and my skin doesn't go back into place, I would definitely consider getting it tightened up here and there.

Speaking of which, did any of you see the Dr. Phil show where the woman lost a bunch of weight and she ended up looking like a deflated balloon that had been stretched out too much? That's one of my biggest fears!

I know - L :rotfl: L !!!!

The interview....." You know, youre really pretty and quite talented. Your resume shows extensive experience as well...but the fact of the matter is, your skin is a tad, well....dark..., where tend to film quite often! We're going to have to pass. I do know a GREAT place you can have that bleached, though..."

I saw an Oprah with a woman like that - I felt terrible for her. And Ive lost a lot of weight (GO ATKINS!) at one point...went from my dont-have-to-try-to-maintain size 12, to a 6, in a little over a year.

And you know what - from having kids, my tummy completly looked like a deflated balloon. Completely. I told my girlfriend, my belly looked better filled out with fat!

Thankfully - Im a 12 again, and it's nice and full, and no more worries about it. :rolleyes2

I'm getting a breast augmentation and a mini-tummy tuck later this year. I'm not going for the porn-star look, just going back to what I was before 4 kids. I'm really petite, and having 4 kids really did a number to my tummy that no amount of sit-ups can fix. I'm basically just having the extra skin and stretch marks removed from my belly button down, and the muscles tightened. I'm very excited to have this done because I'm very self-conscious about my body and I will do everything to not wear a swimsuit, but I had to really work at getting my dh to agree to it.

No I would not, unless it was to repair some sort of severe disfigurement. But then, I don't wear makeup or color my hair or have my nails done. I believe in being happy with what you have for the most part (wouldn't mind shedding a few pounds, but I'll do that the old fashioned way - sweating)

I would definitely have plastic surgery, just a little nipping & tucking on the face to smooth out some fine lines. I am going to look into this in a year or two. I don't think I'd do anything else - though I'd like my chest back (lift) where it started before 2 kids. I am too scared to have breast augmentation. Everything else, I can live with.

That bleaching thing is a new one for me, and we watch Dr. 90210 religously. How did I miss that freak? :rotfl2:

You know that girl with the dark hair, and cheek implants, lip injections, botox, breast augmentation etc, etc, etc - shes on alot.... it was her!!!

As a physician, I will emphatically say that I would absolutely never undergo any unnecessary surgery. I think all that folks who do simply don't comprehend the potential risks involved. I know of numerous cases of patients who had medically necessary but very simple/routine operations and suffered terrible complications or died as a result. Why take that kind of risk just to have a straighter nose or bigger ****s? Sorry, but my life and my health are far more important than my physical appearance.
