Correct way to enter the shower

I enter from where the faucet is. I figure if the water is too hot, I can stand with one leg out and adjust. If I enter from the back, I've got to go through the hot water to adjust. That doesn't make much sense!;)

Backside. The real reason being my bathroom is really small, and the toilet is mere inches away from the front of the shower (where the nozzle is). Trying to squeeze through that space to get into the shower would be impractical and maybe a bit hazardous.

THIS! besides there is usually at least one cat at the nozzle end.

I warm up the water and step in by the nozzle. If I step in the back the floor is too cold for my dainty feet.

My shower is a separate stall from the tub (I love that tub..)

Anyways, it has a glass door, and you have to step down into the shower (sort of like a shower at a gym). As you enter, the showerhead and tap are directly in front of you but to the left side. (does this make sense?) Then off to the right is a deep (like DH and I can both fit deep--and he's 6'4" and I'm a foot shorter, but Pooh sized) area. ;)

I have a handheld showerhead. I push the showerhead to face the wall, turn it on and let the water warm up. Then I hop in and adjust it, then I turn the showerhead back straight.

I'm weird, I know.

I do that too.

Turn it on, adjust the temp, then get in from the back (furthest from the faucet). It seems like water would end up on the floor outside the shower if you get in from the front by the showerhead. :confused3

In my bathroom, for sure!
I have just a shower stall in our bathroom and the toilet sn same wall as nozzles. So entering from the back.

I get into the shower (front or back; doesn't matter!) then turn on the water and adjust the temp, then pull up the diverter knob to send the water to the showerhead.:upsidedow

I only use the upstairs bathroom which only has a rectangular stall shower, which was put in wrong. The door is closest to the nozzle instead of the far side, so I'm a Nozzle Gal.

Yep. I'll answer any question. :rolleyes2

I get in the shower at the end without the nozzle, then turn on the water once I'm in there.

I put my hand in to check temp first then go in on the nozzle side. I like to get in the hot water quickly so I can get warm. I like my water almost scalding!

My yorkie is weird. He will sit on the ledge of the tub between the curtain and the liner and watch. When I get out he licks the water off the floor:rolleyes:

My cat sits on the windowsill which is right next to the edge of our shower curtain. She watches me and the jumps in the tub when I am done and drinks the water as it drains and the droplets off of the tile...Animals are weird.:rotfl:

Yeah at least they aren't sipping out of the toilet?!

I prefer to enter in the rear. When we had a large stall shower with two sliding doors I entered at the nozzle end but that was the only shower I have ever done that with, weird.

If I enter at the nozzle end I can easily fit in the area directly under the nozzle but where the water does not land because the nozzle is aimed on an angle, that just isn't how I roll

Stall shower with rainfall shower head. Pretty much only one way to get in there.
