The upcoming Princess Half will be my first Disney race. :cheer2:Getting so excited! :cool1:
When my Sister & I registered we entered our information from a previous race.
Will we be able to find out which corral we are in before the expo? Do they email you this information?

Thanks!! :flower3:

I asked this question earlier on another thread and I was told only at expo which sucks. I am sooooo hoping for Corral A (fingers crossed) :)

How many corals are there? I submitted the same time for the wine and dine 1/2 that I did for this race, and that time put my relay partner in coral B at the start. I think I only remember there being 4-5 corals for that race though. I'm hoping for B again, and hopefully nothing further back than C.

Can I ask what her time was to put her in corral B? I'd love to know what the cut off points are for each corral :confused3

actually, I lied. For this race I ended up submitting my time from my relay portion of the wine and dine 1/2 since my pace was a few seconds faster. I'm sure the difference wouldn't push me up any, but I figured the few seconds faster pace wouldn't hurt at all.

There are corrals A-F this year. I think I read that in the brochure they emailed to us? Anyone want to confirm?

I submitted a time after registration and the uber helpful person guestimated I would be in corral C (maybe- she said- maybe) with a 10K finish of 1:19. She also told me I could email back to them about a month before the race and they should be able to give me a corral.

So... I emailed about a week ago. Yeah, not a month before, but I was impatient! lol This time the guy said:

We will be assigning numbers next weekend, so I will know by 2/4/11.

Soooo... I think you can find out ahead of time if you email and ask, but they aren't going to publish it or send it out to you unless you do.

I plan on asking- lol. :)

Thanks for the info! I wonder how many of the corals in the back will be people who didn't submit times at all. Do they stick everyone without proof of time in F, or are there going to be some in coral E as well?
In any case, if they are correct in saying you should be in Coral C, then hopefully that means I won't be any further back than coral C! I don't want to have to wait around a bunch after the start. I want to start running right away!

While you can speculate which corral you will be in based upon prior years' placements, you will not know officially until you get your bib at the Expo.

This!

And I highly suspect that if they start getting flooded with emails asking for te corral they will NEVER release that information to anyone again. They have enough going on to get ready for the race without answering thousands of emails asking a question that ultimately doesn't matter that much. Unless you're the last person to cross the starting line, you will have a cushion in terms of time.

I'm not trying to be rude, but these are the people who run ALL the events, and they have an enormous job to pull these things together while still taking registrations for their other events.
