Not a good sign that I'm reading this post and all the ads are specialised breathing masks 😐 and its obvs not custom to me because I haven't researched it and I'm very much if I get it I get it 🤷‍♀

That's interesting. I see ads for commercial refrigerators. We have been looking for a fridge for home, but not a commercial fridge.

The travel industry is getting smacked right now. It's begun. Cancellations galore.

This timing stinks. DS's big marching band (120 kids) has a school trip to UK/Scotland in 5 weeks. These kids worked their behinds off for years and this is the crowning glory. They've been invited to play at historical castles and cathedrals, even to play inside Buckingham Palace with the Changing of the Guard. As of now- still going *fingers crossed* Go Highlanders! No really, go. Please.
Hopefully St Patty's parade in NYC isn't cancelled either, they're marching with NYFD. A huge honor.
Fingers crossed they can go! Good Luck

My trip is booked for July...I'm holding steady and hopeful that this follows the same "season" as the flu. I honestly don't know if my mother will come (77) if it doesn't as it could be a bit risky for her age group.

Just as an aside...Southwest has hiked up their prices since Monday approximately $20 per seat. I am trying to figure out if I should buy now or wait. :fish:

I'm staying at the Beach Club for 2 nights, third week of April. My sister's family is doing a weeklong trip and I'm flying down just to join them at the hotel on a 'pool day.' It was insanely ridiculously expensive for the two nights as I had to pay rack rate since I booked late. I just checked, and there is a 'Sun and Fun' rate that I switched to that saved 20%. So now instead of being insanely ridiculously expensive it's just ridiculously expensive.

I might switch to Caribbean Beach if it opened up, since I could take the Skyliner pretty easy to get to the Beach Club. Though since it's a short stay, I kinda want to stick nearby so I can visit more easily with them. That's why I'm not staying at a budget and ubering over. (Well, and plus budgets weren't available by the time I booked.)

I was able to rebook our May flights on SW this morning at lower prices. One ticket PIT to SFO and one PIT to MCO. I'm going on a rented DVC points stay, don't think the travel ins I got when I booked it will cover this virus. I'm more concerned about DH going to the Philippines. We're just waiting to see what happens.

Odd. What route?
Our flights from Phoenix to SNA just dropped by $60/per person.

Yes, mine had Feb dates on it.
I am so glad to hear I didn't imagine that! thanks :)

When I did go back to my email, it HAD disappeared! I was thinking I was nuts...
Maybe it's like one of those countdown emails where outdated stuff falls off? I did open it when as it arrived in my inbox.

Wondering where I could find the super cheap airfare you posted about earlier.
We're both flying frontier. I think her flight was less than $135 RT and mine from Spokane was $187. That's half price for me!

I definitely think discounts will come if this continues. My plane tickets went down drastically overnight for our trip in July. I managed to get 4 roundtrip tickets LAX to MCO on American for only 11k points a person (I usually book 12.5k one way tickets for reference). Absolutely stoked about suddenly not having to pay for tickets (also free checked bags with my credit card)!

I'm seeing ads for Walt Disney World everywhere. 25% off select rooms this spring and summer. The ad is following me non-stop across every site.
That's because I've been on the Disney forums. :)

As an additional note, I called WDW about making a change to a reservation this week. At the end of the call, the CM encouraged me to keep my eyes out for more discounts between now and my trip. That's always good advice, and he didn't offer specifics (and I wouldn't expect him to know), but apparently they've seen a sharp uptick in cancellations and rescheduling. All speculation, but checking for more discounts is always good advice, especially now.

I was hoping that airfare would go down but it has gone up $10 a day since Tuesday...I was shocked when I went to book tickets today that it was $200 one way.

Keep in mind you won’t be able to go to the Stormalong Bay pool if you are not staying at the BC. They check Magic bands.
