Coronado springs

Hi everyone,

We are nbooked into Coronado springs for Memorial weekend
We have never been to this resort before so are looking for any advive on what resort is like, rooms etc.
Any help would be great!!

We stayed there once and loved it. I am sure you will have a blast. we got a complimentary upgrade to...ummm...i "think" it was called a cabana room....right across from the sandy beach...we had a corner room of a two (or was it three?) story building. We loved it there and will definitely go back, although I want to try POFQ next time we stay at a moderate.

CSR is our favorite!!! We love it there-have stayed there twice and are going back in 2006!!! You will have a great time!

If you were going in January, I would guess that being close to the pool wouldn't be a major issue. For all the CSR experts, if you were going in January (marathon time) with 3 small children, your MIL and FIL, and yourself and DH would you request Casitas (which # bldg) and Cabanas (which 3 Bldg). Yes I know they are only a request. We have always stayed deluxe and are thinking of splitting our stay with deluxe/moderate this trip and are anxious for any information you can share with us.

I'm going in early Dec. and I still plan on doing ALOT of swimming! Of course I'll be leaving snow behind me at home so any warmth will be good!

Well I have to say I'm calling my TA tomorrow and changing over to CSR, I've visited Buzz's website and Epcotfan's(downloaded screensaver, thanks) and read post from DisneyJen. Buzz answered alot of questions for me on my favorite moderate poll ( go by and vote ) and I have been converted. This is a beautiful resort and it just appealls to us more than POR. We think it will be kind of a vacation within a vacation. Anyway I'd just like to say thanks to all of ya'll, you've given a wealth of info over several threads and your love for this resort show.
