Which would you choose? Both are the same price point for the new years dates we are looking at. Getting to/from the parks? Thanks for any input. Won't be spending too much time in the room or resort. 2 adults 2 older teens, rope dropping and long days in the parks.

Which Port Orleans, Riverside or French Quarter? It makes a difference.

If they are the same price and the PO is FQ, then POFQ due to small resort size and one bus stop for the resort.

If they are the same price and it’s POR, then I would say whichever one has the theme that appeals to you the most. Both will have multiple bus stops, so you could have issues with crowded buses at your stop. The experience of getting to the parks is not much different between them. Both have TS and QS dining. Both have feature pools and quiet pools. Both are kind of spread out. They are very similar in everything but theme. The only advantage POR would have over CSR is that they are not a convention hotel, but if no convention is going on at CSR then that also makes no difference.

Both are bus only resorts, so neither has an advantage there. And I don't think location wise either one is necessarily better.

I'd probably choose CSR, but that's only because I've stayed at POR and haven't stayed at CSR yet.

I agree with @fla4fun. POFQ is my favorite moderate, the size is great and only one bus stop is nice. If POR, then I also agree, whatever theming you prefer. Though I think I'd still choose POR over CSR, I like the grounds better (it's a beautiful resort) and the boat to DS is a nice benefit.

Another one who love POFQ. I have not stayed at Riverside but have stayed at Coronado several times. I would choose Riverside if you plan on doing Disney Springs or having a pool day. I would stay at Coronado if it’s an adults only trip or you really like nachos :)

We like both of the PO resorts slightly better than CSR, just because of their themes and we like having the boat to DS. You really cannot go wrong with any of the Mod resorts. Our family are in the minority on DIS, as we started at Deluxes, then Mods and now POP is our go to resort ever since the skyliner, to our family, that is a giant perk and when we want to switch it up we will pick a Mod and still had just as great of a time as we did at the deluxes. Saved a lot of $$ to go towards more WDW trips. LOL

Definitely CSR. So much more to do than POFQ. Lots of lounges, restaurants, and the main pool is fantastic.

CSR ~ it is the deluxe of the moderates and very centrally located to ALL parks.
