Coronado Springs Resort?

We will be at OKWest from Dec 5-9 and then hopping over to Coronodo Springs from the 10-12, leaving on the 13th. Will we love it? I'll have two 6 year olds and a 4 year old.
Should I change to another Mod resort? I booked this one b/c she said we would be able to see MK fireworks from the res. property. Is this true?

We loved it! We enjoyed our stay there. I have a 7 and a 5. They enjoyed this resort. MK Fireworks??!?? No. I don't think you can see the Epcot Fireworks either from CSR and Epcot is closer than MK.

We've stayed at Coronado twice, although it's been several years. We thought it was a beautiful resort and enjoyed it very much. In fact, I think it's the best moderate. If I were to stay in a moderate again, it would be this one. No, I don't think you can see MK fireworks from Coronado.

If you like a Mexican/Southwest atmosphere then you will probably like it. As to fireworks you can see some of the fireworks from Illuminations. You definitely cannot see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. One night I could hear Fantasmic from my room. CSR is very close to Epcot and MGM. I have pics on my website.

The CSR is great. The kids will love the play area by the main pool. I don't have kids, so I didn't spend any time there, but I walked by it a few times and thought that it would be fun to be a kid and play in that area. The overall theming of the resort is cool and it's really beautiful. Unfortunately, you won't be able to see the fireworks at the MK from the CSR. When I was at the CSR in 2002, I could see a little bit of the fireworks and light show at EPCOT, and I do stress the word little. However, the resort is great and if you stay there, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We stayed at Coronado Springs shortly after it opened. Just loved it! Nicely decorated rooms, beautiful grounds, and a wonderful pool area. You AND your kids will just love the pool. The only other moderate we've stayed in was CBR. Although it was nice, I'd pick Coronado Springs over CBR in a minute!!!!

WE've been there in '98 and '00.
We're going back this May.

DD was 5 at the time and she had a blast. The pool and slide are great!
Don't forget to make it to the pool early one day so the kids can help the lifeguards in the pool opening ceremony!
