Last January I won a radio contest - free Disney World trip for 4!! It's been a loooong process (when you win these contests Disney books everything for you, you provide a list of preferable dates, which type of resort you want and the names/ages of your guests - they do everything else) but today I finally got all of the final paperwork for our trip in the mail!!! :cool1: We leave early, early (which is what I wanted) on January 13th and come home the 19th. We are staying at CSR    We asked them to add 2 nights to our package that we'd pay for (the trip was originally 4 days/5 nights) and they got us a discounted rate of $110 for those extra nights! PLUS my prize comes with a $500 gift card :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Now that I know when we are going I am even more excited!!!!! I just had to share my joy :)

Kathy, fantastic job on this link. I have spent the last hour looking it over.

I think we are going to finally do it, and book our next stay at the CSR. I know, I know, we booked it for our last trip in August and changed to the WL, but this time I think we're going to do it. :goodvibes

We are planning to stay next year for Christmas and with us wanting to stay 10 days instead of 7 the savings of over $1500 without any discounts yet showing is a lot of money.

Again, great job.:thumbsup2

Rejoining the CSR group :) We were booked then switched to WL but changed our minds the last time and are now sticking with CSR for our trip this summer :) Thanks for the great thread and info!Keep pics coming!!!:yay:

Thank you; that means a lot coming from you. I hope you do try it, but I'm really surprised being Christmas that you are going to do it. Won't you miss the Christmas decorations? I'm not trying to talk you out of it...I just hate to see you miss that special warmth at Christmas that you are used to.

Good to have you back. :goodvibes

We did the WL last year for Christmas, and yes, we loved it. But we will still see the WL when we eat at your favorite restaurant (yes that would be WCC). :lmao: We'll still visit the Grand Floridian and see the decorations there when we eat at our favorite restaurant, Narcoossee's. And of course, we'll see all the decorations and parades at the parks. :thumbsup2

Nothing is in stone as of yet other than we are not going to be able to get back for the summer. There is a possibility we may go back Thanksgiving week instead.

Just booked our next stay at CSR for July 1-9. Have read this entire thread, cannot wait to get back there!

Now, off to find a nice ticker!

Nice job on the ticker, and glad that you are going back!

We are booked next year Aug 21-Sept 2. :cool1: This thread has been so helpful. I requested Cabana 8A, but I'm thinking of changing request to Ranchos 7B. We would like to be by the main pool and I'm worried they are going to make Cabanas a preferred section. I didn't book preferred. I don't think it's really worth the extra money for us. Any way, we are very excited to try out CSR.

The Ranchos is the only section we've not stayed in, but we have walked around it and I'm determined to stay in the Ranchos on our 10th visit and say at CSR. I think 7B is a great choice. I'm still trying to find out if they have determined what will be preferred rooms.

Checking in 12/19 for 5 nights. :yay: It's a *Mom/Daughter, meeting up with my dear friend & her daughters* trip!! :woohoo:

This will be my 4th stay there since the refurbishment. :thumbsup2

We received our Magical Express mail yesterday!!! We are all so excited to be there for Christmas! My Wife found some great Disney Christmas window clings the other day for our room (at the All-A-Dollar store no less!), and we found a little tree at Target to bring for our room, with some little Disney tree decorations to go with it.

It's going to be great!

I hope that means ours Mickey mail :woohoo:will be here soon

I am still unsure of what section to put on our room request.

I should probably figure it out sometime soon, lol.

I love the look of Casistas, especially at night. Ranchos doesn't thrill me at all. Cabanas look nice as well.
We drive to the parks for the most part, and we probably won't be using the pool.

29 days left!
Ok CSR & WDW experts...

We have ADRs everyday for our trip. I need some help with times and routes to where we will be eating. We have 3 children 4,4, 9 months so it will take a little extra time.
The info I need is what route to get there, what time should we leave to arrive in time for reservations, and how long does it take to get there.

CSR to MK (Crystal Palace) for 9:25 am.

CSR to Disney Beach Club Resort (Cape May Cafe) ADR at 8:35 am.

AK park to GF for 5:45 pm dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Then GF to CSR.

CSR to Epcot 8:30 am ADR at Akershus.

CSR to Fort Wilderness Resort (Trail's End Restaurant) for 10:45am.

CSR to Hollywood Studios (Hollywood and Vine) for 8:35 am.

CSR to Contemporary (Chef Mickey's) for 9:20

Contemporary to Dowtown Disney just need the rout and how long it takes to get there.

Downtown Disney to CSR (in time for ME to airport at 3 pm flight is at 6 pm) what time should we leave DTD by and what route?

I hope that's not too confusing.

We got Mickey Mail about a week ago! I am SO excited!!!

Thanks!
