Does anyone know what time the Rix Lounge and Laguna Bar close?

I know I've been at the Laguna Bar at 11 p.m., but not sure when it closes.

The Rix Lounge is open 6 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. I do know that certain nights, that kids are not allowed after 9 or 9:30 p.m.

We ate there 4 different times now. The first being when they first opened and the last being on Sunday. In the beginning the answer was yes, but on our most recent visit the answer was no. It doesn't hurt to ask during your stay, but I'd say don't count on being able to get lunch there to go.

I was down there Dec 4th, the first day the buffet started. I had gotten lunch to go the day before to eat out at the quiet pool while I read a book. not knowing it was changing to a buffet, I asked the next day for a to go ticket. At that time the CM said they were no longer doing take out for breakfast or lunch, only dinner. I told her all I wanted was the fruit plate, but was refused.

Very excited that our room is paid off for our end of May trip! We missed last year but we are so excited for May!! We have watched the resort video a few times and really like the look of the Rancho's. We don't really care as long as we are close to a bus stop.

Bottled water is not a choice, but tap water is. I am very picky about water and the tap water at the Pepper Market isn't sulfur and chlorine tasting like the tap water in the parks. The beverage choices were sodas, coffee, tea, apple juice, milk, chocolate milk, and I think orange juice.

Darn, that is what I thought; thanks for the info. We have stayed at CSR several times prior to the buffet and love to get our lunch to go and eat outside. I was hoping to be able to use my lunch on the DDP to get a bottle of water for the parks and use my dessert for a pastry to save for breakfast the next morning. I guess that I won't be doing that at PM.

We thought lunch was much better than breakfast.

They had a Mexican station with 5 or 6 choices

Really good rotisserie chicken

Salad bar including a really good BLT salad

A carving station with some type of roasted beef. It looked good but was too rare for me so the guy put it on the grill for me and it was good!

Yummy mashed potato

A few kid choices (nuggests ,Mac& Cheese)

Lots of desserts (yummy strawberry shortcake)
Hand dipped ice cream

I am sure some other choices too.

You can do that at supper time though.

That seems like an amazing deal. Just hope it doesn't change to TS credits anytime soon as we only have QSDP!

I'm hoping they keep that just like it is now. (the breakfast)

My daughter is a big breakfast eater and I hate using a CS credit for breakfast. This solves the issue nicely, because if we get a big breakfast, we can use snacks for lunch or pay oop to split a cs meal in the parks.

It should stay a CS though 2012 but it would not have to necessary stay a buffet though we got the feeling from the staff that is the plan for now.

Hi all! We just got back from our stay at Coronado Springs! We didn't eat at the Peppermarket Grill but it is still buffet.

The rooms were clean enough. While the bathroom was clean, it just looked like it could use a good scrub.

We loved our stay though!

Hi! Can't wait to get there! I am a little worried about our arrival time, though. We will probably be checking in around 11:00 p.m. and I'm afraid that we will get a bad room location. Has that happened to anyone else? Is it possible to switch rooms when someone leaves from a better location?

I think rooms are assigned around 5 days before, but I'm not sure. Hope it works out for you - we really need adjoining rooms and hopefully next to a bus stop for disability reasons, but I don't hold out much hope either! We are checking in about 17 30.

Yes, sometimes you can switch rooms the next day if you are not happy with your location. Just ask at check-in if there might be availability the next day.

We checked in at 11pm this past Tuesday and we love our location. We are in Cabanas 9a. We are at the first parking area after entering the gate. We drove, so we love that.

If you feel comfortable doing so, you can ask for something different, when you check in, if you don't like what they are giving you. I have politely asked once when we stayed at AKL and they were very cool about it and assigned us a different room
