If you get the refillable mugs, where can you refill them? Is there a place near the main pool that you can refill them, especially in the earlier am? Also, what beverages can you refill your mug with? Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can refill them at the pool. I believe the hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (the "food" area might open at 10, but I don't remember for sure). You can get iced tea, coffee and soda.

Just switched to CSR today thanks to a gret AP rate. We are DVC owners but used all our points for a family trip to AKV at Christmas. Just the girls and I this trip. Requested Cabanas 8 or 9 top floor. Am interested in a meet thought we dont arrive until evening on the 18th. Very excited to meet up with my Dis Buddy Kathy Great, informative thread by the way-girls are soooo excited!

I hope that this is the right place to ask:

I am staying at CSR in mid-December and I just found out that I will be attending a convention at the resort next June

When I am there in December I am going to look into booking my stay using a Bounceback, if it is offered, for the dates in June as I am not impressed with the rates being offered through the convention group. My boss has asked that I book him into one of the Junior Suites, if I can get a good enough rate. Are the suites part of the Bounceback deal? And if so, has anyone seen them go for 35% off or more? Last one, can I book two rooms of different levels using a Bounceback?

I have done online check in at BWI and was very pleased with the room that was assigned to us and my room was ready at 7:30 AM. I am trying to decide if I should do it for CSR. My girls only want to stay in the Castitas section though. Would I be better just doing regular check in? I have asked for Castitas 5 or 4 but I know this is just a request.

I did on-line check in and got the building and floor that I requested. Top Floor Casitas 5. Did have to wait a few minutes until the room was ready, but it was worth it. The room was perfect and the view was wonderful.

Thank you so much! That gives me some hope. My DD's insist that they do not want Cabanas again or Ranchos so anywhere in Castitas would be fine. I am hoping since it is not a major request (compared to some that they must get) that it will be granted.

Hey Mary!! I cannot believe I am going to miss you by half a day!! We check out on the 18th and probably we be gone by noon. Kathy, I hope we are still able to meet up on the morning of the 18th!

Do we get charged for Garden Grocer orders by CSR? Not sure since I know they charge (depending on how you mail it) if you ship packages down. TIA!

No. CSR does not charge you. Garden Grocer will only deliver after you have arrived at the resort. They will call and if you are in the room (which you should be because you pick the time of day to have it delivered) they will bring it up to your room.
Otherwise, they will leave it at Bell Services and the only cost to you will be a "tip".

Does anyone have a picture of a roll away bed at Coronado Springs? ...especially if it is set up in the room. I'm wondering where you would set it up. Anyone slept on one and would it be comfortable for an adult?

We used a roll away bed during our last visit at CSR. Our ten year old daughter slept on it. I don't think I took a picture of it, but I'll double check. I think it would be comfortable for a small to medium adult. As far as where to put it, Mousekeeping suggested that we slide the desk all the way over to the dresser and then place the roll away bed under the window. That is what we did, and it worked out great. We always folded it up and pushed it to the corner when everyone was up for the day. I sat on it a couple of times, and it seemed pretty comfortable.

Is there a reason they don't want to stay in the other sections? I'm really confused with where we should request. One kid likes casitas, maybe 5,though I really don't want to be on a 3rd or 4th floor. One kid wants ranchos, which the only one I would be interested in is 7B, for proximity. And I want Cabana's, I think, like 8B or 8A.

Does this look like a reasonable request that could be met?
1) Casita 5, lower level
2) Cabana 8B or 8A
3) Ranchos 7B

Or is this too much information? I don't really feel great about that Ranchos request but one of my sons loves the look of that area. That building seemed pretty close to things like the main pool, bussing, quiet pool, and not crazy away from El Centro. (We don't mind some walking, in fact like it. - but the farthest out Ranchos is definetly NOT where I want to be).
Do people find faxing a request early helps? If so, how many days early do you fax it and to whom? I have listed requests on my ressie before and have had them ignored at CBR.

That is a lot to squeeze into 3 requests - think I would drop the second part of the Cabana request. Would drop Rancho's because it is likely if the other requests are not available they will likely put you there anyway.

A CM on the DIS suggests going to regular check-in and do not do on line check-in since that is for quick document pick up. This will make is easier for the CM to help find a room in an area you would really like, if not already assigned. I'd bet the kids will love Cabana's once you are there..so why not simply request:
1. Cabana 8B
2. Cabana 8A
3. 1st or 2nd floor.

Yeah please do, we are the ones with the blue skin! LOL My poor wee boy had sweat dripping down his face when he was asleep in the car today and it's less than 20 degrees here at the mo - he's going to be liquid in Florida - lol!! We were over last year though in July and we all survived!

Can't wait!!
