Our exact dates are September 11th-18th. We will be heading off midday or so on the 18th. Would love to be able to do a DIS meet at CSR if possible. Wow there are five us it seems that are staying at CSR over similar dates. Could we figure out a CSR DIS meet?

I like the idea of a breakfast meet on the 18th.

I checked the convention list a while ago and the last time I checked there were not any conventions during our trip, though I don't know how often that list is updated.

If there is a Dis Meet-Up, please post! I figured out which parks/which days, but am not sure yet which evenings we'll be "home." We are doing the 9/18 MNSSHP. I bought our tickets yesterday!

If we purchase tickets, that's the same day we decided to go. It was a choice of the 14th (arrival date) or 18th.

18th will work out nice for us. It's a day we planned for us to sleep in a little bit longer (ie, 7:30/8am), have a nice breakfast, visit BB, then back to the resort to change and attend MNSSHP.

That sounds like a great plan! I like an easy morning on a party night. We're going to Tusker House for breakfast and will do an attraction or 2 at AK while there before heading back to CSR. We want a few hours of swim time/maybe laundry time before the party. You can get in the MK at 4:00 with your MNSSHP tickets, so I hope to be at the bus stop around 3:30.

We were going to do the party on the 21st, but the schedule changes messed up my other MK day and the 18th works better now.

I'm so excited about staying at CSR that I bought a small cactus plant for our table because it reminds me of the resort. I wonder if there are any fun Cinco de Mayo events going on there today?

We are officially booked now that I booked our airfare. We will be there from 8/17 to the 27th. We will be with another family possibly 2 families.
We have stayed at pofq and pop. Anything we should make sure we do staying here. What is not to be missed? Thanks for any tips and suggestions.

We have our second trip planed for the end of Aug. with free dining and we chose to stay here again. We really like the hotel and property. It does have that Delux feel at the moderate pricing.
We are also having my in-laws coming as well, so 10 of us will be there to enjoy everything.

I definitely want to do a DIS meet. I think I'll do what I did last year...I'll put together a poll with a couple of alternative dates/options, and the majority vote will win. I'll do this sometime early August in case they change the park hours again. Does this sound good to you?

We have a breakfast reservation that morning at Boma's. How about you and I meet at the PM for a cup of coffee that morning before Mark and I head over to AKL?

Lay in a hammock (just not mine ) and enjoy the view; have the kids participate in the pool opening ceremony; have a game of sand volleyball...always a hoot; just relax and enjoy!

We have an early morning (8:05) CP reservation on the 18th so we can go the park early. We are doing MNSSHP on the 14th I think. We do have breakfast open for the 15th and 17th (and possibly the 14th). I really hope I get to meet some of you!

Hi; I doubt we would do a breakfast meet. I told Charlefours that I would meet her for coffee the morning of the 18th because she is leaving that day and I don't get there until late the night of the 17th.

We will try to put together an afternoon or evening meet either somewhere at Epcot or back at the CSR. I'll link the poll here when I get it up and running around the 1st of August. So everyone should just keep an eye out for the link here.

I hope a bunch of us can meet too.

We are going to MNSSHP the 14th too. It is hit or miss the rest of the week where we will be at.

I just booked CSR today for Memorial Weekend. This will be our first time staying at any of the moderate resorts! I am super excited about this trip since my DH said no Disney in 2010! We will be arriving on Friday and leave on Memorial Day. I can't wait!!!!

What and when is the pool opening ceremony. The kids will get a kick out of that. My son once opened the animal kingdom and it was wonderful. Does anyone know if they still pick people on line to open the parks? All of those times in the parks and have only seen it once and that was the time that they picked him,lol.

Sorry if this was answered already but want to know if they have unsweetened iced tea. We will get the refillable mugs and I do not drink soda. I did see from the picture that someone posted that they have nestea but that is sweetened. Some places have a separate canister with unsweetened iced tea. Just wondering if I will be able to get this at the resort.

Can someone please tell me if the Dig Site pool is open? I read that the pool is under refurbishment from Jan to Dec 2010.

There was a special singing/dance performance at 2-2:30pm today at the Laguna Bar & it was great! A wonderful day to be at CSR, enjoy the outstanding Pepper Market food & a strawberry margarita, definitely a day to remember.
