:) We just got back from a week at CSR, and it was great for the whole family. We stayed in one of the new Std View Bus Class rooms and the amenities were great. Cococino Lounge had a nice selection of breakfast type foods and other snacks too. The rooms were clean and well apportioned. Staff were all helpful and happy as one would expect from Disney. This is a great value for the $$, and we see no reason to stay at any other resort.

We're saying there I'd the first Ike in June. So glad you liked it. It makes me feel better about staying there!! :goodvibes

Unfortunately, I didn't feel the same. We stayed in a preferred room and was issued a room in Casita 3 in the back on the 4th floor (we had a 2.5 yr old in our group). The way the rooms are step up in the casita area was very confusing and not close to a bus stop. The Pepper Market's food was ok but it took you forever to get anything. The check in was a nightmare but to the CMs offense the computer system did stop working which took forever!!!!
The rooms were clean and roomy but the 4th floor with a young child and we payed for preferred rooms with NO view!! I don't think so. Next time I'll go back to POR or try another resort:goodvibes Just not a fan of CSR. (Don't even get me started on the bus system:rotfl:)

We loved our stay at CSR last year...it was just DH and I. Very quiet, beautiful grounds and landscaping, and loved the rooms and the comfy beds. Restaurants were fine, but the small quick counter service place got very mobbed in the AM. We liked Pepper Market breakfast, but I don't think it is a buffet anymore.

However it is a huge resort...luckily we were in Casitas 4, so just a short walk to get morning coffee. Not sure I would have been as happy if we were at the far end of the resort. For our next trip this June with extended family including small children we are at POFQ, which we think will be a good fit.

So excited to check in on Friday in the bus class. It will be our first trip to CSR. Thanks for the TR.

I love it there too! Have stayed 5 times and have never been disappointed.

Glad to hear, we are staying at CSR the last week of May. We have never stayed at this resort before, which is why we picked it. We have stayed at CBR and POR several times (but living in LA we want something than the norm here).

I've booked a water view, hope it holds up to my expectations.

We stayed in Casitas 3 in February and loved everything about this resort. Thinking about trying business class next time!

We check in on Tuesday, looks like it will be cool the first couple days.

My DD (who is 22) & I are heading down for the MNSSHP and F&WF. We have only stayed at value resorts when she was younger and have not gone in quite a few years. So this year we are very much looking forward to the "upgrade"!! :cool1:
I do think it makes quite a difference whether or not you are traveling with little kids. Having done my time with children, I am very much looking forward to a "grown-up" vacation!! :cheer2:
