Coronado Island Restaurant suggestions

First of all I do know there is a California board but thought I would throw this out here in case anyone had suggestions.

Next week I will be arriving in San Diego to visit my Marine son and his wife for Thanksgiving, yeah! I love, love, love Coronado Island and we will go there for lunch or dinner one day. Any restaurants on the island that are not too expensive but offer a fun experience? We are not gourmet food eaters and from the midwest so any suggestions? TIA

Hi! We stay on Coronado every summer. It's our home away from home. If you're looking for a restaurant that's fun and has a great atmosphere with delicious food, try the Beach N' Diner. It's on Orange Ave. right in the middle of the main drag, next door to the Mootime creamery. They're actually connected, so you can have some of their fabulous ice cream for dessert! I recommend the ice cream dessert nachos. Yum.

Well any meal that can end with Ice Cream is a good one! Thanks for the suggestion we will try it.
