Corn finally arrived at farmers market on Saturday and boy, was it good! We roasted it in the husks on the grill. Tomatoes are in market now--Yay! BLT here I come!!!

A problem with fresh from the garden produce is we get spoiled by the wonderful taste and then in winter we have to eat wax veggies from the grocery store--
 
We had the very best corn last night. And the tomatoes are incredible. I could live on that combination all summer.
 
The "jersey tomatoes" are in, and I am LOVING them!

But, like the pp said, it's even more depressing when the cold weather comes & we have to go back to eating the grocery store fruit & veggies.
 
Yes, we have had corn for a week now. I usually grill them. We shuck them, cover them in butter and brown suger wrap them in a wet paper towel and then wrap them in aluminum foil and grill for 15 min. YUM, YUM
