Does anyone know if you are still allowed to bring wine aboard? and if they still charge (or not) the corkage fee? I think it was 10. or 15. but the charging of it was hit or miss. Somewhere I read (maybe castawayclub.com-thanks!) that your waiter will carry your bottle of wine along for your rotation which was great since I don't drink that much, and that allowed us to drink it over 2 nights. Like every restaurant, wine is expensive & I would like to bring it aboard & pay the fee. I think it will be less in the end.

Yes, you are still allowed to bring wine aboard. And, yes, there is still a corkage fee if you bring your wine to the dining room. That fee is $15 plus the standard 15% gratuity for a total of $17.25.

I brought on two bottles for my cabin, but ordered wine in the dining room for dinner. I ordered a bottle of merlot the first night, and and a bottle of chardonnay the second. My asst. server would have both out each night, the chardonnay on ice and the merlot on the table, and would take away the one I didn't want depending on what I was eating. I was the only wine drinker at the table. The second to last night I took what was left in the chardonnay with me as I knew I'd want the red the following night. It worked out pefectly to the drop for me.

Of course we won't discuss the champagne I drank by the glass :)

Yeah, I think I had a $20 glass of champagne at dinner one night, and no, it wasn't worth it!

Hmmm...I had Mimosas at breakfast, I think they were about $5-6 each. I had a glass of champagne in the lobby a couple of times, again I think about $6. I was never charged $20 for champagne--and didn't see Dom on the wine list...

We bought a bottle of wine on one of the islands and brought it to dinner with us. We weren't charged the corkage fee. On another trip, we had a bottle of wine waiting in our room (gift) when we checked in - and we also didn't get charged a corkage fee at dinner. I think it depends on your server.

Sounds like I need to bring my own champagne on board!

$20/glass is a little much even in "vacation" mode!
