This was one of two special dinners we had at WDW to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary.

I have to say it was probably one of my favorite restaurants. We had a table in front of the Fish tank which was awesome. Our waiter was wonderful, drinks never got close to being empty, he was right there with another one. Very attentive and fun.

Since it was our anniversary he brought us complimentary champagne. Ummmm.

For starters we had the Lobster soup, ( I guess I was a little too close when I took this pic.) It was delicious, lots of chunks of lobster.

Then we had the Grilled NY Strip,

and the Grilled Chicken breast.

My DH and I loved the steak, cooked perfectly, My DS loved the chicken as well.

For desert we had the Chocolate Wave, and the fruit with sorbet.

The chocolate wave was heavenly, and my DS really enjoyed the fruit and sorbet.

This was a wonderful meal, and we will be sure to go back again.

Nice review. I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews but our last visit here was also wonderful. The steak was the best and its just a fun place to go.

Thanks for the review!!! I am really looking forward to eating here this September!!! Crab legs here we come:cool1: .

Thanks for the review! I've never been here, and it's our first dinner res. when we go down there in August on our honeymoon! Can't wait!:)

great review and photos - brings back some good memories...

DH loved loved loved the NY strip - your photo made him smile! :goodvibes

Our DS's will choose the steak..My DH and I for lunch want "lighter" option, although the steak looks great!

Anyone have either caesar salad with chicken or shrimp or barbecued salmon sandwich there lately for lunch?

Also, if one of my DS(on plan as adult) wants "kid dessert" like ice cream sundae, can he do it instead of adult dessert option?:

Thx...:rotfl2:

We are eating at CR on our first night in November. I can't wait! Thanks for sharing your pics!

Food looks good. Dumb ?'s is the pic of the 20 or 30's dollar steak from coral Reef? Does the meal come with a salad, bread & drink? I know the dessert is included with dd plan. Just wondering as i'm comparing ddp vs oop

Thanks for sharing. Glad you enjoyed Coral Reef.

If it is a pic of the dinner steak then, yes, it is $32.99 but it is 12 oz, great steak. The meal comes with bread, salad and drink are extra. If you are on the DLX or PLAT plan then you get an app, which you could get a salad, just on the DDP then no app included

At dinner they only offer the 12 oz steak, and it was priced at $32.99.
It did not come with salad, but we did get rolls, and we did have the lobster soup which was wonderful also. We were on the dining plan, and only had to pay for the soup and the tip.

I loved the chocolate wave when i went there! i was younger so i was not a big fan of a lot of what was on the menu but i specifically remember that dessert and how good it was!!

we really really enjoyed coral reef...the themeing, the fish tanks with divers ,the food..all together it was our favorite place our whole trip.:thumbsup2 .. we loved all the disney food and found something for everyone at each place. the men had the ny steak and loved it! i do believe it came with some sides..and bread was brought to the table as part of the meal.Plenty for all. dd & i had the blackend catfish with pepperjack cheese grits...it had some sort of sauce which i scrapped off since i am a pickey eater. the fish & grits were so yummy...dd & i also ghad the chocolate wave and for the life of me i can't rememebr what the guys had,we were too into our wave! the kids did the build your own sundea and loved it an they had some sort of fish and really liked it and taste tested the steak with dada and pawpaw...
i had snet the email for hte diver/sign and personalized menus and the kids really got a kick out of that...it was a wonderful dinner and i will go there again ...there are pix of the menu's on my tr....:woohoo:

Your food pics are great! My mouth is watering as I type this. Thanks for posting the report, you've reminded me of how much we enjoyed CR :thumbsup2

Who do you e-mail to get the diver and menus? I think ds would love this! Also, any advice on sitting next to the aquarium? I asked at the time I made my ADR, but was told to wait until I checked in for my ressie. Thanks!

You call the Coral Reef directly, and they give you the email address to send your pictures to. As far as sitting next to the Aquarium, we didnt ask for it, they just gave it to us. :woohoo: I think if you use the diver they make sure you are by the Aquarium, because your diver comes right up to the window by your table. Our reservation was to late for the diver, because they stop at 7pm.
