hubby, son (8 that day) and myself.

i got the crab claw app, hubby got a salad. claws were ok, but i am from the eastern shore of va, where we get blue clawed crabs and i think they are the best, so if i don't compare them, then the app was good. hubby did not comment of the salad, but it was good.

hubby got the shrimp pasta, and i got the ny steak, son got the pizza. the steak in taste was only 2nd to the rainforest cafe steak (which i rate #1 in taste). the coral reef steak was rated by me as #1 for tenderness, so overall i would rate the coral reef steak the best. the shrimp pasta was good, but not as good as the steak. we split the meals so each of us good enjoy both.

we had a diver hold a sign with Happy Birthday for my son, and we ordered a mickey head cake.

overall, the service was great, food great, atmosphere great. i would defianately go there again.

oh, son and i were on dp, hubby was not. the waitress encouraged our sharing of my tableservice, but we had already planned on not doing that. just wanted you to know that some places will allow sharing of tb service meals.

hmmm....i never gave it a thought. in all the posts i read about the diver with banners it was never mentioned about tipping him. the manager never mentioned this either.

anyone tip the diver?

i will feel bad if we were suppose to and did not.

I dont know but I think they go down with a group? Did you see others in the tank also? I think they would tip him for sure.

Do divers only hold signs for birthdays? Im going with 3 friends and its all their first times to Disney. Would they maybe do a Welcome for disney sign or something?

i am sure they would hold any special ocassion sign. you would have to call and make the arrangements. debbie is the manager, if she is not already booked with diver's for your time period i am sure she will do it for you. she does not allow too many diver/banners, so as not to make it commercial, she wants to keep it special.

do a search on here and you will find her number. or check my posts, somewhere i posted the number. if you need more help with the number let me know, i will try to search for it again.
