Coral Reef seating question

If we are a family of 5, would we be able to sit next to the tank? I believe I read somewhere that the tables by the tank were only for parties of 4. Anyone know??

My kids would love this place if we were able to secure a tankside table.

The tables by the tank are for four people. Seating is tiered, however, and we had a great view from the second tier. I did see a table by the tank split for 2 and 2.

After going there for lunch in August, one of our favorite meals of the week by the way, I don't think I would want a table right next to the tank anyway, because people would go right up to the tank to take pictures.

You could request a booth in the first tier. It would just not be next to the tank.

We have ADR's for Coral Reef in Feb 07 and I am glad hear people talking that they like it. I have heard a lot of bad about this restaurant but we are trying it anyway. Happy to hear good too

I actually prefer the booths on the 1st tier...it is a semi circle that directly faces the tank and you don't have anyone hovering near you while you are trying to enjoy your meal.

IMHO, the tables near the tank are too close together. Having a private conversation is tough. The tiered seating works well and allows for a view of more of the tank.

I agree, and there's actually not a bad seat in the place. One of my favorites, both with my family and when visiting solo.
