Coral Reef Questions

Hi Everyone,

My DH is a very picky eater and basically eats steak or hamburgers with potatoes. He will not touch seafood and is not happy if anybody else we are dining with orders seafood because he says he can smell it. We are a match made in heaven because I do not eat seafood, so we are good. :goodvibes

I think my kids would love Coral Reef because of the big tank. Can you smell the seafood from the other tables? If all 4 of us order steak or chicken, will we still smell the seafood? I guess what I am asking is when you walk in the restaurant...does it smell fishy?

Thanks,

Loralie

There is no overwhelming odor that I recall, but yuo will be surrounded by people for the most part eating fish.

If that upsets you, then I don't think you will enjoy it. There is very little non-seafood on the menu.

I'd say it smelt about the same as Red Lobster to me.

Never ate there but why don't you consider letting the kids enjoy the fish in The Living Seas and skip eating at Coral Reef. It really sounds like a place DH would not want to be in the least. Maybe do Le Cellier instead :confused3 or Garden Grill for the kids?

We ate there last October and I honestly don't recall it smelling any different than ANY restaurant. There is no open kitchen to worry about.
