We have one ADR left to decide and are trying to choose between the two. I understand that they are differnt types of food, both look good. Which one would you suggest and why?

We haven't been to either of those restaraunts either yet. However, last time we went and had the Dining Plan, we heard amazing things about Coral Reef. We couldn't get reservations because it was booked solid. Tutto had plenty of openings. So if that's any indication, I would say Coral Reef would be the best choice!

Can't really comment on Coral Reef because we haven't been there but I would really stay away from Tutto. DH and I were there last February and for two days we ate the exact same thing except he ordered calamari at Tutto, which I refused to try, and he was sicker than a dog for two days. Even if he hadn't gotten sick, the service there was the worst we had ever. We will never go back.

We have never been to Coral Reef as we are not seafood lovers. But we have been to Tutto and we LOVED it. We had a great experience. The food was wonderful, and the kids were happy. My 9 year old asked to go again this trip.

My cousin went to the Coral Reef and she loved it and tried to talk us into trying it. Unfortunately, they don't have much on the menu that isn't seafood. So, we stick to what we know. :)

I'm another who can't comment on Coral Reef but we absolutely love Tutto Italia, in fact it was the 1st place on the list when we began planning this years trip.

Both are great restaurants. If you're not so much concerned on food it's more of a location thing. If you're thinking about seeing Illuminations it might be best to schedule Coral Reef early as it is not in the World Showcase where the show takes place. Any restaurant in the World Showcase is relatively great for some sort of view for the show. Scenery is a big thing that differs from both. Italy is on the world showcase while if you go to Coral Reef you're getting to dive down to Nemo's depths and see all the fish in the fish tank. It's about time and location really.

When I was a kid my dad took us to Coral Reef and I loved it because it had that "Under The Sea" mood. For me I love that place more over the two but I love Italian food too...my family is Italian. It's hard to choose but just check out the Disney website and see what looks good to you. Definitely book in advance.

Been to both and yes they both are good but very different. If I had to pick one no ? it would be Tutto.:thumbsup2

Hi - I have been to both of these restaurants multiple times.

Coral reef used to be my Do-Not-Miss meal. LOVED the Mahi. SO MUCH. Loved everything else too, pretty much.

We went in early September and got to eat that delicious stuff. This was in 2009. Then in later September 2009 (a few weeks later!) we went back and it was AWFUL! The menu had changed and the new Mahi dish was just not great. The server apparently didn't know what they were serving because I asked if there were tomatoes and he said no (yes there were!). DH didn't like his lobster ravioli - it was pretty pathetic. They'd even messed up the desserts (bye bye chocolate wave - it was like a bad chocolate muffin that someone spit in the inside of)

We had been to coral reef many times before this - so at least I got to appreciate it while it was good. That mahi with the cashew jasmine rice and malibu rum beurre blanc was my favorite meal anywhere

Tutto we went on that same trip late Sept 2009. I didn't want to as I think italian food is kind of boring and the same everywhere. But it was great! Loved the calimari - and you get a TON of it in the appetizer (DH and I shared and couldn't finish). Loved the crusted sole with sauce. Went back again and they had taken the crust off the sole (awwww) but it was still good.

So I would pick Tutto. Sorry if that was too much info. Oh and the service had gone way downhill at coral reef. We wated like over an hour for our ADR - maybe more like 1.5 hours - ugh

Tutto on our last trip was one of our best WDW meals ever. Never been to Coral Reef. DW doesn't eat seafood ("fish are friends, not food" and all that). :(
