Which would you do?? We have a ADR for Coral Reef in June. We are travelling with friends and we will be on the dining plan while they are paying OOP due to staying off-site. For them this will be the most expensive meal of our trip, well after Hoop Dee Doo. We talked this weekend about possibly cancelling it because it gets such mixed reviews. I really don't want them to spend 200 dollars on a bad meal (they have 4 kids) I know the restaruant looks cool, but we are thinking maybe "snacking around the world" would be the better option. We have other meals planned at Ohanas, Whispering Canyon, Liberty Tree, 1900 Park Fare, Sci Fi and Mama Melroses. We are also goiing to the Clearwater area for a few days after Disney, where I know we will get some great sea food. So what do you guys thing...Keep it or cancel it???:confused3

I'm sure you will hear responses from both sides of the coin. From my own experience, Coral Reef was by far the best meal we had at Disney last fall. Every person in our party of eight, children included, voted it the best meal, service, and experience. We were all on the Dining Plan, so for us the cost wasn't an issue. I know it gets mixed reviews- and I hope we have an equally good experience this fall- but for us it was awesome.

I would rather eat around the world my family loves Epcot for just that reason. We all get to pick what we love best and we can shareso everyone can have a taste

The desert called the WAVE is the BOMB so why don't you just go there for desert and eat your dinner around the world instead.

I would eat around the world, we went to the CR in Dec and it was a huge let down. If you do not get a seat next to the tank it really is not worth it. It is fun trying to eat around the world, the kids will have a blast too!! Have a great trip:thumbsup2

HEHE That is my selfish reason for wanting to keep this ADR, I have been absolutely dying to try the infamous Wave!!!!

try to get in for an early lunch and then snack around the world when you get hungry
