Can someone please let me know how Coral reef is for lunch and if anyone has any pictures I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

I dont have any pics that I can add, but I have been for lunch twice Ive had the steak and Ive had the lobster salad and bisque and they were both very good. As was the bread and oil appetizer. The restaurant is very popular so its always crowded so service may be a bit slow just b/c of that but other wise its a wonderful experience..My DH loves it, we ended our honeymoon there so he wants to go back each trip..

We went in February and didn't like it at all. Bread was still frozen in the middle, lobster soup was gelatinous and gross, we couldn't see the tank at all, pizza and veggies my kids got were just not good. It's the only restaurant in the whole WDW that I will not return to.

I loved the atmosphere, but the food was not that terrifc, not terrible either but just normal. I'd say try it once especially if on the dining plan, out of pocket, I might reconsider.:cloud9:

We had lunch there in March it was terrific. I had the lobster salad with the lobster bisque and it was very good. DH had a steak (doesn't eat seafood) and he said it was better than the one he had at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Our boys (age 2 at the time) went through 3 bowls of the lobster bisque - they loved it! I should also add that our server was wonderful. One of my boys was very cranky when we got there and wouldn't settle down. He brought both of my boys light up Captain Hook clips and my DD a light up Tinkerbelle to help us get them settled. He was very attentive and didn't charge us for the extra soup that the boys had. We really enjoyed our meal there.
