Coral Reef Kid's Menu Update - 8/19/06

I just wanted to update everyone. We ate at Coral Reef on 8/19 and they now have a kid's appetizer selection.

Vegetable Plate (with Carrots, Broccoli and Celery) $1.99
Mushroom or Lobster Soup $1.99

Therefore, kids are no longer entitled to get an Adult appetizer on the dining plan.


Will update more, once I get back to normal at work. (I think I might put this on the Dining Plan forum also.)

Last fall, DD wasn't allowed an appetizer there, so she'll be pleased.

Great. Not a single thing my 5yo dd will eat. Is it too difficult to put a bowl of tomato, or chicken noodle soup on there?? I could be wrong, but how many kids like mushrooms? It took me 30 years before I did!

We also ate there on 8/19 for lunch. It was our first time and we really enjoyed it. DD4 got the carrots, broccoli and celery and ate it all except the celery. I didn't know it was a change from a previous menu.

my big question is do they have french fries or baked potatoes available. My son only likes the above, will not touch rice or mashed taters. ugh.

Just thought that I'd throw out there that my ds loves mushrooms, especially on his pizza! I never thought it was strange, but maybe it is.

I will say though that both of my kids loved the lobster soup - it was cream based and it was delicious!

Although it was freezing in there - don't know if that is normal or not, but I definitely needed a sweater and my dd was begging for the sweater off my back.
