Is that do-able, Coral Reef for Lunch and Le Cellier for Dinner while touring Epcot? Or will that eat into most of our touring time. I'd like to be able to see most of Epcot in one day following a pretty strict touring plan, but i'd also like to experience both these restaurants. Opinions? Are these two restaurants worth it in one day? Thanks again for helping out a Disney Rookie:thumbsup2

You'll end up spending 3-4 hours of your day eating, yeah, but for some people that's not a big deal. Both of those spots often get behind in seating people, too. We had to wait awhile at both spots every time we've gone. So keep that in mind, too.

It's doable, but if you only have 1 day for Epcot (which is a 2 day min park for us) I wouldn't book them both. I'd choose one now and save the other for the next trip.

It's a lot of food unless you have a very late reservation for Le Cellier.

I think it would cut into touring time. Both are sit down restaurants. Two table service meals may also slow you down a little depending on your normal eating habits. Of course first you must get the reservations which in the case of LC are not easy since it is very popular any time of the year. EPCOT is a big park for a first time visit and taking a couple of hours at least for the two meals would reduce what else you would see. But both are nice places and they would be worth it if you choose to. Between the two I would say LeCellier is better but Coral Reef has the aquarium to view while eating. You will get lots of opinions from others about which is better.

We are doing this on our Jan trip although I think it's a mistake. Every time we have eaten at Coral Reef or Le Cellier, we have had to wait for a table. Never been seated at our ADR time. So between the time it takes to wait and the time it takes to eat, a lot of time is wasted. Plus it's a ton of food. DH and I normally only do one TS a day but we are taking other people who wanted to do this. If I had the choice, I would skip Coral Reef and just eat dinner at Le Cellier. Thank goodness we have 2 days at Epcot.

If you are only doing one day at Epcot, I would only eat at one TS. Doing both on the same day, while trying to do the entire park, I just don't think its possible. Pick only one of them, and save the other for a future trip.

I agree with the other posters. I would hit the fish and chips place for lunch at the UK and eat outside by the water for a nice break after future world.

I did Coral Reef for lunch and Le Cellier for dinner a few weeks ago. I am a relative newbie to WDW and was travelling with a friend who made all our ADR's. If your circumstance is such that you will be in EPCOT for more more than one day, try to space it out and do one restaurant a day. For me I was also on the dining plan and that was just too much food. The food at both places was very, very good, but heavy. If you must do both restaurants in one day schedule an early lunch (around 11 or 11:30) and later dinner (7:30pm at the latest so you don't miss IllumiNations). We had our meals scheduled a little too close together so I wasn't very hungry at Le Cellier (although that didn't stop me from eating too much). I would give Coral Reef a slight edge over the other one, simply for the atmosphere. Hope it works out and you can enjoy both restaurants!

I think that would be a lot of food for one day. We had a late lunch ADR at Le Cellier (220pm) and that kept us full for the rest of the day. we hit the UK fish and chip place late and I ended up throwing most of it away- I was stuffed from the lunch!

If you want to try both and use the least amount of park time, I would suggest an 11:30 ADR at Coral Reef. That is the earliest you can make. Be there at 11:20. You will be seated right at 11:30 and should be out in 45 min. I would then make an ADR at the latest allowable time for Le Cellier. If you get hungry in between, snack on a pastry from the bakery in France. The only problem with that idea is that you probably won't be able to see Illuminations. Ask when you call how late they stay open. You could also get an ADR for around 7pm, just order appetizers, request the check as soon as your food arrives and should be out the door in an hour or less.

Have fun. These are 2 of our favorite restaurants!

Not sure if you've gone or not yet, but we have done something very similar to this. We had a noon ressie for Coral Reef, not on the DP. So we had an entree and beverage only, and enjoyed the restaurant. Then later, about 7ish had a ressie at Marrakkesh, on the DP. I'm pretty sure the only thing we had in between was a drink. We did get to see Illuminations as well. popcorn::

I wouldn't do two TS meals in one day - it will eat up too much of your time.

Stick with one TS meal (Le Cellier is one of my favorites - try the prime rib sandwich at lunch!) and do CS for the rest of your meals. Sunshine Seasons has great food (rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, etc. - they also have a great chicken caesar salad). Also, the fish and chip window in England is great.
