Coral Reef Diver w/sign

I've heard mention that you can have a diver hold a sign (i.e. happy birthday) while you are eating your meal. Has anyone done this? How do you reserve? I called over the weekend and was transferred so many places but no one knew. Thanks,

I have this set up for March 9th for my son's 8th birthday. I called the Coral Reef directly, and went through voicemail for the manager.

I had to leave a voicemail, and she called me back to set it up. She also gave me an email address where I could email pictures and a message to be printed on his menu.

I believe this is the number: 407 560 6856.

i did this for my inlaws 40th anniversary this past May. i called the number and i spoke w/someone. there was no charge. be sure and keep a look out for the diver cause he came down sooner than we thought and we were able to get some video. my inlaws loved it!!! i emailed beforehand about the menu that they do up and we never received it. they also gave them a special desert which was a chocolate mousee w/strawberries in a champagne glass.

It is still free, but they are doing a very limited number of divers, so be sure to call and reserve early! Also, if you are going for lunch, the earliest the divers get in the tank is 12:30, so be sure to make it a little bit later (our ASR is for 11:30, so we'll just eat slow!)

I think it's 11x13 or so-- the size of a large notebook. And you'll want to be able to read it from across the room if necessary.

So "Happy Birthday John Doe" would be great. Adding in..."The very best husband in the entire world, dad of the year, stock broker supreme, with love from Jane, Mary, John Junior, Scott, Susie, Spot the Dog and Fluffy the Cat" would probably be overkill.

I believe it's only for B-days and Annv.

I did this for my daughter last year for her B-day and it was totally cool! She loved the menu having her picture on it, and pictures that she hadn't even seen of herself at that! LOL I made the message short and sweet, I figure if your asking them to do something for you for free you can't get to picky. I was extremely thankful and Debbie was wonderfully nice about the whole thing. She's very good about getting back with you, I wouldn't (if I were any of you out there) keep calling and leaving messages. I promise she's good about getting back with people, if for some reason she doesn't get back with you then call in about a week and see if you catch her, it's always best to call for her during the morning or early in the day when the resturant is closed, and keep trying until you reach a voice, but don' leave a message unless your getting down to the wire on being there. I believe you need to have your request in ASAP, but I think if it's not a busy time of year, you can get it in as late as a week away, that's providing that they aren't already booked up for others having asked. She told me we would be the last one for the evening, and our ADR's were for a later time then when the last diver of the day does this, she switched our ADR's around so we would be there for it. Debbie rocks!

Just got a call back from Debbie! She is WONDERFUL! The sign doesn't have to be birthday or anniversary related, she said it can say whatever you want it to as long as it it isn't too wordy. And a later lunch is Ok. I am reserved for 1:30pm when we go in August.

As for the menu, she will put Goofy on it since that is my son's favorite. She told me to send a few pictures and suggested a poem or song lyrics. I have to do some research on that!

She sounds really terrific. Now to just keep my mouth shut for 6 months so I don't ruin the surprise!
