for any one that has done both - based on food quality/value and your view/proximity to the tank?

from what i understand you can't make ressies for sharks though - they only take them at the front desk of the restaurant and only for that day, so if we are going to go there, we will have to hit there first and put our name in for the time we want.

have to say sharks freak me out....so I like the coral reef atmosphere, as its more relaxing ….but the food is better at sharks...

ok, you have me wondering....what was freaky about it? just the simple fact that the sharks were,...well....sharks? or was there some other reason?

Its just me, I’m sure a normal person wouldn’t have an issue with it…DH thinks it’s the coolest thing...

But back in the day sea world would do sleep over camps in that room ...they took all us kids 8 to 12 years...made us watch jaws then locked us in the room with the tank lights on... to spend the night:scared1: ....ever time i'm in there it just freaks me out....but the food was really good

dont be sorry DH has been laughing about it for years...
Needless to say my fear was not going to stop him from using his coupon

ding ding ding....you said the magic word......what's this you say about a coupon? where can a budget minded shark lover find one of these?

Wendy- Your wedding pictures are beautiful!!

I also want to know about a coupon, lol!

We plan on eating at Sharks this year and at Coral Reef (our first time at both).

Oh sorry the coupon was for employees....my mother works for Anheuser Busch so we got 60% off...which negates all other things in DH's mind

Have fun though

Oh and thanks for the complement…. so sweet

We've eaten at both but we definitely prefer Coral Reef. I think the food at Coral Reef is vastly superior, although both restaurants gave us great views of the tanks (we were right by the glass for both restaurants on our last trip).

We've eaten at both. I thought the food quality was about the same, though we didn't have appy's at the shark place. They're both on the expensive side, but we went for lunch so it wasn't too bad. The shark place had better presentation, though.

As far as tank activity, you can't beat the shark place...there were lots of sharks and other fish swimming by. At Coral Reef, there was some fish here and there, maybe a turtle once in a while, but no where near the traffic of the shark tank.
