My husband and I would love to eat at Coral Reef for the atmosphere, but neither of us like seafood. I know that they have a steak, but we would LOVE to just go in for coffee and to try the chocolate wave. Is it possible to go and just eat dessert? We wouldn't linger around, so they could turn our table over pretty quickly. We just want to experience the restaurant, eat something yummy, and go. Is this frowned upon?

Thanks for any opinions.

The steak ot coral reef is great. I hate Seafood too.
When we went I had a terrible headache that only got worse while I was there. I had already ordered and the food had just arrived. I took the buses back to the resort while my dh and kids finished eating. The waiter boxed up my dinner and sent it back with DH. By the time they get to the resort I felt better and ate the dinner. Even cold it was very good.

That being said I think if you can get a reservation then you can eat whatever you want.

I agree that you should be fine with whatever you order. Just let them know that you just want dessert. :)

Before doing this, you should know that Coral Reef is notorious for running behind on their ADR times so popping in for a quick dessert is not likely to happen. The lobby is noisy, busy, stressful and short on seating. If you think the experience is going to be worth the wait, you will be fine going in to order just dessert.

Thanks for your opinions. We are hoping to make this work, so knowing that it is "allowed" is great. :thumbsup2
