I didn't see it posted but just got an email that stated to call a guide about the new resort, CC. Is it on sale? They don't normally send out requests to call for resorts not on sale.

I wonder if it is going to only direct contract owners? We didn't get an email, but we are definitely interested in CCV. Wonder if I cold called them about it.

They have this footnote on the website link from the email:

*Proposed - estimated opening 2017. Not fully registered or available for sale.

Wondering what the price per point is going to be. We might do a small direct purchase.

I think it only went out to pre 4/4/16 owners because it was an email that touted what a great year 2017 was going to be for DVC members and specifically mentioned perks that are now unavailable to resale buyers (Epcot lounge, retail and dining discounts)

I got this email also... no word on the price point for Copper Creek, but I wasn't really planning on adding on there anyway. I don't think we could like anything more than The Grand Floridian

As a Marketing Professional, I think only sending to the pre-4/4 owners shows interns at the wheel.

You do two versions of the email. The pre-4/4 is al the "what a great year for DVC members." The post-4/4 is "Copper Creek is COMING! Get in early! Wow! Woo! Yaaaay!"

There is no reason to leave post 4/4 buyers out of this prospecting. You just do two versions of emails.

...unless you think that resale buyers will never buy CCV. It could also be coming later, as a subtle differentiator. (Only the cool kids got to know about it in advance.)

if you do a small direct add-on -- learn from my mistake and do more than 25 points. 25 points at a separate resort are not a lot -- makes it tough to book much of anything, even with banking/borrowing. You can forget booking anything larger than a studio.

It will be interesting if it comes out higher or equal to Poly, wondering if the lack of monorail access will give a discount.
