Hi There
@anricat,
First hand account here for you: On August 10, 2022, my DW and I, disembarked the Disney Magic at Ocean Quay Cruise Terminal in Copenhagen at around 9:00am (leisurely disembarkation after a nice breakfast). We were the ONLY passengers to walk across the street to the public sidewalk. Everyone else was waiting for taxis and other arranged transportation. We walked across the street to the sidewalk and turned left to walk up to the corner of oceankaj and ocenavej (not more than 100-200 yards up from where we disembarked). There is supposed to be a Visitor Information Center here where we could buy a Copenhagen card with unlimited public Train, Metro and Bus transportation. Unfortunately for us, the information center was closed on that day. The official information center, which, by the way, did not look like an information center, was next to a private gift shop vendor. Anyway, I ended up using my phone to buy the Copenhagen cards with unlimited transportation online and opted to use digital ticketing instead of paper tickets (now I had to just make sure that my phone was always charged). The bus stop is right around the corner and up the street maybe 50 yards from the Information Center. We waited at the bus stop (maybe 5-10 minute wait). As soon as I saw the bus, I activated our copenhagen cards. We took Bus 25 to Osterport St and then walked over to the train station and took the S train to Kobenhaven Station. I waited to activate our cards to ensure that the cards would still be active Saturday morning when we needed to take the train to the airport. Our hotel was also next to Tivoli Gardens. We stayed at the Absalon Hotel. The Copenhagen Train, Metro and Bus system is extremely friendly and easy to use, especially if you have the unlimited transportation pass. WARNING: Bus routes and Train routes change all the time so please use the website below to plan your journey. The bus number you take will be dependent on the day and time you are at the bus stop. And you can take the bus to both the metro and the train station. We took the route that would get us to the hotel the fastest that morning and that happened to be the train instead of the metro, but depending on the timing the Metro can be quicker. This website will show you all of these options:

We used this website every step of the way and it made our 4 days of using public transportation in Copenhagen a breeze. (be sure to bring a portable battery to ensure that your smartphone does not run out of juice). Please feel free to ask any more specific questions if you have any. We really enjoyed our stay in Copenhagen and we hope you have a wonderful trip!
