Coordinating your kids clothes???

Ha! It is so funny that just last night I was thinking of what to dress my boys in each day so they would match(but not know they match) They are 11 and 5 and matching "would not be cool Mom" but they're easier to keep an eye on and look good in pics!

We've gone a few trips with another family, most recently WDW in Nov, and we dressed all 6 kids in matching T-shirts every day. It made it so much easier to keep track of everyone and like others said-it got the attention of quite a few CM's. They didn't always have the exact same shirts but alwyas had the same color. Oh, and it did look great in the pictures!!! I would recommend bright colors-orange, lime green, yellow.

I'm always trying to match my kids. It's getting increasingly more difficult though b/c now there are 5 and the sizes range from 12mos - 6/6x. I just bought matching 4th of July shirts for everyone at Target - blue for the boys & red for the girls!

I am of a certain age...when my parents took my brother and I to WDW (when WDW was all there was!), we were dressed alike so it would be easier to keep track of us. When I mentioned this to Grandma she had totally forgotten that she was a pioneer in child management!

I used to dress my girls in matching clothes, but they're "beyond that" now and they refuse to go along with it.

My best tip for scrapbookers: Pack only solids, stripes, dots, etc. -- no shirts with messages. They tend to distract from the picture. A solid-colored shirt is classic, and the eye focuses where it should: on the child.

Here's another clothing line I love:

Very cute stuff, but the prices . . . holy cow! $48 for an infant-sized short-alls and matching mat . . . and the tee-shirt is another $14. No way I would spend that much money on a child's clothing! I buy almost all my girls' things at yard sales and consignment stores, and people always comment on how nicely they're dressed.

LOL. Agreed...probably a perfect argument as to why I need to have another child, so that the babe does not think that the universe revolves for him. Alas, if only Uncle Sam would let me have his daddy for more than 5 months at a time...another child we might make.

For now, too much online shopping is an adequate diversion.
